0 RESULTS AND ANALYSIS

3.1 Range Consideration of the Load Values

The value of loads from piling details is arranged as follows from low values, medium
and high load values. Based on the values arrangement, the calculation would be easy due to the
classifications of the live load (Q kN) values. Table 1 shown the range of load values for the
design foundation calculations. For our project, the value that we choose for design of foundation
calculations are;

1) Low = 562 Kn
2) Medium = 979 kN
3) High = 1998 kN

3.2 Data Obtained (SI Report)

Based on Soil Investigation (SI) Report, the results that needed for design foundation will
considered the important items which are moisture content (%) of soils, bulk density (pb), dry
density (pd), Cohesion soil (C), and friction angle (ᴓ). Table 3 shown the parts of natural
moisture content from SI report for project “Additional Soil Investigation Works for CMS
Mambong New Grinding Piles”.

Table 3: Natural moisture content from SI reports.

The results value stated below is important for the calculation of design foundation. All the
values is depends on the soil classifications whether it is suitable for foundations. Table 4 shown
