Objectives

This study has the following objectives:

● To explore the role of GrabCar in our transportation sector and sustainable

transport in Manila, through the use of actual surveys;

● To determine the characteristics of GrabCar users as well as the attributes of

GrabCar operators in Manila;

● To determine the perception of commuters and operators on GrabCar.

Statement of the problem

GrabCar was introduced here in our country recently and became controversial because
of its offer of a chauffeur service. The rise of this mode has direct impact to the once
dominated segment of the taxi industry as these two became popular in the market in
terms of the premium services it provides to its riders.
