ABSTRACK
This research background are present the students who do not believe with their ability in doing a
task, there are students who do not finished their school tasks with stand alone, there are students
who getting easy to give up when faced difficulty in doing a task, there are students who still
cheating when have a test although they had studied, there are students who doing homework at
the school, there are students who did not use library facilities in the school, and there are students
who do not have self efficacy and responsibilities in doing a task. This research is descriptive
approach with correlational statistic analysis. The population in this research are students of XI
and XII grade at SMA Negeri 13 Padang amount 407 persons. The sampling technique of this
research is Proportional Stratified Random Sampling, the number of sample are 80 persons. The
instrument using in this research to collecting data is questionare. The technique using in this
research to analisys the data is using correlation technique. The result of this research’s correlation
between self-efficacy and students stand alone learning at SMA Negeri 13 Padang are : (1)
Students Self Efficacy is low category (2) Students’ stand alone learning is low category, and (3)
the significant correlation between self eficacy and students stand alone learning are rcount >rtable
(0,346 > 0,220. Based on this research, the students are can increase their self efficacy especially
in teaching learning process because with high of self efficacy will make the students better and
more stand alone in learning.
