SUBTASK 710-005-A (Figure 503)
(1) Do this operational test with AMS controller channel A (CH 1) and channel B (CH 2) in
control, separately.

NOTE: • To do a check of which AMS channel is in control, refer to AMM TASK

21-00-00-910-803-A/200 .

• To transfer the AMS channel in control, refer to AMM TASK

21-00-00-910-801-A/200 .

(2) Do a check of the LH engine bleed system, as follows:

(a) Start the LH engine (AMM TASK 71-00-01-910-801-A/200 ) and keep the TL in
the idle position.
NOTE: You can use the APU or an external pneumatic power source to start the
engine.
(b) Set the BLEED APU pushbutton to the unlatched (off) position (a striped bar
comes into view) or stop the operation of the external pneumatic power source,
as applicable.
(c) On the overhead panel, on the AIR COND/PNEUMATIC control panel, set these
pushbuttons as follows:
• BLEED 1 - latched (auto)

• PACK 1 - latched (auto)

Result:
1 On these pushbuttons, the striped bar goes out of view.
