INTRODUCTION

 Leather is a natural durable and flexible material created by tanning animal rawhides and
skins.
 Leather is used to make a variety of articles, including footwear, automobile seats,
clothing, bags, book bindings, fashion accessories, and furniture.
 Leather is similar to the skin on your body. Without proper care, leather will age
becoming dry and cracked losing its softness and flexibility. It should be carefully cleaned
using our Leather Cleaner or Leather Detergent to remove the dirt, dust and grime prior
to conditioning.
WHY LEATHER CARE IS REQUIRED?

As long as humans have used leather they have employed a variety of products to increase
its lifespan. Historically, oils and grease were applied to make leather waterproof so as to
withstand adverse weather conditions. This basic form of care later extended to polishing
shoes or belts, straps, helmets and armour to bring up the shine and gloss and keep them
looking as new as possible.

Most people are aware that leather shoes and saddles need a little care from time to time.
What they may not know is how to look after a particular type of leather and that car leather,
furniture leather and garment leather also need protection against ageing, wear and soiling.

The aim of good leather care and maintenance practice is to preserve the condition of a given
leather item for as long as possible. The care requirement of each leather product depends
on various factors. It depends on how a leather was produced (type of leather), how it was
processed (shoe, clothing, sofa, car etc.), how it is stressed by use, how old it is and if it is
exposed to sunlight and other damage potential.

Depending on the type of leather and type of use, leather requires oils and fats to keep it soft
and supple and/or a UV-filter, to prevent fading and /or friction modifiers, so it does not
wear out as quickly, and/or waterproofing, to avoid water stains.

Some more points also noted:

 Leather care will help our leather to retain its beauty and softness while protecting it from
the sun’s UV damage. Leather is unique in how it was tanned, how it is being used and
the condition it is in.
 As leather is very expensive material so keeping it in great condition should be one of
ours highest priorities.

VALIDATION THROUGH RELEVANT ADVERTISEMENT

During our presentation we shown two type of advertisement which is Old and
another one is New avdvertisement.
Old avdvertisement
 “Ye Naya Hai” : By this title they are trying to show that we have introduced a
new product and it is better than any other product
 By polishing one of the shoe they are trying to explain that by using our product
the shoe looks more shining than by using any other product
 And the customer is also happy looking his one of the shoe in which “Cherry
blossom shoe polish” is used.
 There tagline “ek baar me esa chamkaye sadaran polish do baar me bhi na
chamka paye”
 For looking more attractive to customer they have used catchy line
“international formula” which they have not disclosed to keep curiosity in
customer mind.

New avdvertisement

 “Naya Shoe Agle Saal” this line have been used as they are middle class family
and can’t afford new shoe to buy so the child is making some attempt to make
his shoe somewhat like a new one.
 After trying many things like coloring the shoe with black color he was unable
to make his shoe a new one.
 After making so much attempt his mother came and used cherry and after that
the shoe was like a new one.
 “Cherry blossom ke 50% jyada shine dale jhooto me ek naya jaan” means that
from earlier product cherry have made in a new format so that more 50% shine
can be made in shoes.
OBSERVATION AND FINDING

 We have seen many feedback of the customers from Amazon as well as from Flipkart.
We observed that there are two types of customer. One who is satisfied using this
product and the other who are dissatisfied using this product. As we can see in this
review that a customer have given 5 star and mentioned its usefuleness because he have
used this product and according to his needs and wants these product is useful.
 On another hand this customer is not at all satisfied because it doesn’t fulfil his needs
what he wants in that product.
 So the company needs to analyse the behavior of the customer so that a product can be
made which suits most of the customer demand and their needs.
CONCLUSION

 If there will be a requirement for products than the need will be generated in the mind
of the customer and they will try to buy that product after looking various alternatives
of that product.
 They will buy that product which will fulfil the customers requirement and demand in
terms of the products price, its uses, its availability in the market.
 Here also we can see that for protecting and taking care of the leather shoes a leathercare
product is required.
 Thus customer have opted for cherry because it have fulfilled their demand than any
other brand.
