C-CTHM-4 : FEEDING PROGRAM + DIY Activity

Sto. Nino Daycare, Sto. Nino, San Andres, Tanay Rizal

There will be 60 kids. The kids will be divided into five groups. Each group will have a maximum of 12 kids. While waiting
for the food, DIY Workshop will be done.

DIY Groups
1.Give your microwavable containers, spoon and fork, and cups to the cooking group. Each student must bring two of
each so that the kids will have something to use during the feeding program.
2. Write your names on a sticker paper beforehand.

2. Get to know the kids
a. Get the whole name and age of each children. Assign one to write this on a ¼ sheet of paper.
b. Write their nicknames on a sticker paper. Assign one to do this.
c. Prepare a simple game in the establish rapport.
d. If you think the kids are already on their best mood, proceed with the Dream Catcher Activity.

1-2hrs
3. Create dreamcatchers with the kids according to their wants. DO NOT DO THE DREAM CATCHER ON YOUR OWN. DO
NOT LET THEM DO THE DREAM CATCHER ON THEIR OWN. Help them, that’s why EACH STUDENT MUST KNOW HOW TO
MAKE THE DREAM CATCHER.
4. While doing it, ask them what they want to be when they grow older. Ask the work of their parents. Where do they
live? Where do they study? Ask questions. Let them tell stories. Tell them some stories too.
5. From time to time per group, get the exact height and weight of the kids. Do not round off. Assign two members for
this. Write this on the ¼ sheet of paper. Ex. Del Rosario, Martin – 9yrs old - 1.23cm – 19.20kgs

6. Bring other sports materials you wanted to use after the dream catcher activity if the food is not yet prepared. You
may want to play sports or you may bring some coloring materials. Make sure to have enough materials for the whole
group of kids. Remember, each group will have a maximum of 12 kids.

Plan with your groupmates. You will create 12 Dream Catchers per group. Try looking for these items at Joli’s 

Dream Catcher Materials


1. 8inches in Diameter of Wood Hoop or Thick Carton
2. Ribbons for the outer circle
3. Yarns/Strings for the inner design
4. Beads
5. Feathers
6. 2 Scissors per member
7. Glue, as needed
8. Any decorations you wanted to add
