Guidance 2 (Script)

Group: Good Morning Maam.

Couselor: Good morning. Before anything else allow me to say my rules in this room.

What do you want? Why did you come here?

Golong: Good morning po maam. Mayroon lang po sana kaming ikukunsulta.

Flores: This is about our problem sa barkada.

Counselor: What do you want coffee, juice?

** The secretary( Yubal) will serve juice for everyone.

All: we for juice, thank maam.

Okay. First of all I want you to know that I have rules in this room that you should follow. Allow me to
read this to you.

So the following are the.

1. Be honest.
2. No harsh words.
3. No violent reaction.
4. Respect who is inside this room.
5. Listen to who is talking.

Counselor: Can you please tell me in just a short version of what really happen on that night?

Flores: That day was the birthday of Golong and after the celebration we decided to hang out in the
nearby

Counselor: Uh.. I see.

Golong: I blame him ( Flores) for what had happened.

Jahanie: Kung nakinig lang sana kayo sa akin nah wag pumunta doon eh.

How often this occur? I mean how often do you guys went out to a bar or club.

Golong: This is the fift times at ang pinakamalalang nangyari.

Counselor: I see. Flores would you like you explain what comes to your mind why did you choose that
girl to dance knowing that her boyfriend was there?

Flores: Maam kasi alam mona… nagandahan kasi ako eh. Tsaka sayaw lang naman.

Macabangon: Anong sayaw eh pinopormahan mon a eh ? Tsaka di magrereract ang boyfriend ng ganon
kung sayaw lang.

Counselor: So far sabi mo wala ka namang ginawang masama tsaka sayaw lang naman tama ba? Flores?
Flores: Yes maam.

Macabangon: Sandali lang maam ha. Kasi first time ko lang pong sumama sa kanila. Sabi ko kasi sa bahay
nalang kami ni Flores. Di sana mangyayari ito eh. Alam na alam ko kc mga karakas nito eh.

Counselor: So far Jahanie you are doing very well. Atleast in your group there is one who thinks right.

Golong: We think kasi its better outside the house, syempre para maiba naman.

Flores: TSaka anu ba mapapala natin sa house ko? My parents were always busy with their business
stuff. I’d better be out rather that alone at home.

Counselor: Would you like to explain that further?

Flores: My parents were always out of town because of business. We don’t even eat together. And to
think that they are not around I felt that I am alone! They don’t come to school to attend meeting..

Counselor: This is what I heard you saying “ You feel you are alone. Am I right?

Flores: Yes maam.

Macabangon: Really? I thought they just out for a day. Sorry.

GOlong: Bro. Malala pala parents mo.

Flores: kaya nga eh.

Counselor: Mr. Flores if they were out for a living well there’s nothing with that. But family is very
important. Napakaimportante ng kumunikasyon. Tsaka hwag kang magiisip na nag iisa ka. You do not
know how concern they are to you.

Golong: Bro bka mkaaffect yan sa grades mo?

Macabangon: Talaga

Counselor: Later I will call your adviser. I want to know your status in your classes. That’s all for today.

Counselor: Good Morning everyone

All: Good morning maam…

Counselor: Based on your stories and grades… Ok lets go first with your grades. Golong and Macabangon
you are doing great naman with your studies. But Flores you are having a hard time studying I think with
your Math and Science Subject.

I want you to know that you are too young and its normal to experience what you have experience two
weeks ago. Don’t think too much about it because it will affect your studies. And since you have
reconciled with those people already I’m sure they have forgiven you. Now to Mr. Flores your grade is
quite alarming but please don’t be disappointed. Make your parents you’re inspiration. To think that
they were out for studies, to pay your school fees and to give you that things you need. Study hard for
them and spend time with them if they are around. You know what I mean.

The day after tomorrow I will talk to them.

You see everything we did has reasons and purpose. But be sure that you think many many times before
you do some actions. Mr. Flores you should be thankful you have true friends here. Treasure your
friendship.

Are guys go to church regularly?

Golong: Me yes maam.

Jahanie: Me twice a month with my family.

Flores: I only go to church during my birthday.

Counselor: Please pray and go to church regularly. It will tighten your relationship with God. Mind you it
will change you a lot.
