Doesn’t have care

Being ignored to someone heartbreaking but why am doing this to him?

He didn’t do anything to deserve this pain from me.

I can’t understand my self, don’t know what I am doing.

I didn’t even bother to placate him when he’s sulky, I will be the one who’ll start
the quarrel.

I will be the jelly jealous girlfriend even there has no reason to be jealous with his
classmate or friends.

Not saying or feel sorry even I am the responsible of his madness or being not in
the mood.

All he did was to care for me and love me, making me feel that I’m the most
important person in this cruelty .

I know, after reading this you’ll think I’m the worst yet luckiest person you’ll know.

 Chapter 1
Astrea’s POV

New environment, new school uniform, new subjects, new teachers, new schoolmates, new classmates and new friends
but it was the same as my school before. You can hear the noise of the surroundings specially the sweet tweeting
sounds of birds. The silence of the library, the noise of corridor and the rumpus classroom.

This is my first day, so here I am looking for my classroom. I forgot to take my map that our principal gave to the
transferees. I can’t find Room 306 that’s why I looked around and I asked the first person I saw.

“Uhmm… hi, can you tell me where’s the room 306?” then I smiled as a friendly approach but suddenly she rolled her
eyes.

“I don’t know, get out of my way” she said as she pushed me and walked away.

Oh what a great answer, I shook my head. No choice, I really need to find my room alone. After two hundred years, I
finally found my classroom.

I checked if it is really my room and yeah 306.

As I looked inside, my teacher is busy discussing something to my classmates.

I knocked on the door to call my teacher’s attention.

“What made you late miss? ” she raised her eyebrows.

“Uhmm I’m sorry ma’am I’m just a transferred student that’s why I didn’t immediately found my room” I said as my
head down low because my classmates are looking at me.

“Get inside” she said, in a freakish voice. “And introduce yourself”

“My name is Astrea Aravena a former student from Montello High that’s all’ I said like a kid that is so shy. After
introducing myself, I sat at the end of lasst row. No seatmate, no interruption, just alone.

My teacher discussed a little bit about the school’s rules and regulation then she let us take our break. Someone caught
my attention, the girl’s who’sn approaching me.

“Hi I’m Savannah Montereal, can I join you?” she said as a sweet smile curves on her pinkish lips.

“Sure” then I smiled at her too.

We went at the cafeteria but the students are looking at me, do I have something on my face or it is the first time that
they saw a transferred student?

I can hear their murmurs, especially the boys.

“Look at her dude, she have the angelic look”

“She’s mine back off”

“No way dude, she’s mine”

But the girls…

“Oh some bitches are here”

“She’s ugly duh!’

“I’m prettier, so shut up boys”

“Stay here Astrea, I’ll just buy our snacks” she said as she went on the cashier.

After a few minutes, my eyes widened as I saw what she’s carrying “That’s too much Savannah”

“Oh my mistakes, I don’t know what you want so I bought all of this hehehe” them she smiled awkwardly.

“Know what Astrea, I read some stories through Internet” she interrupted me.

“What story?” I asked curiously.

“Confessions” she answered shortly.

“Ohh sounds like it’s interesting” I said and leaned on the back of my chair. “Where can I read those confessions on
internet?”

“On----“

*RING*

I didn’t hear her answer because the ring is too loud.

 Chapter 2
After the breaking time, we went back to our classroom.
My classmates are so noisy, shouting as loud as they can.
“BACK OFF DUDE!” then the black headed pushed the tall one.
“You’re the who better back off dude” replied coldly.
“O0H SHUT UP ASSHOLE!” he shouted again and they began beating each other.
No one stopped them on fighting, instead my other classmates are cheering them up.
But the noise suddenly vanished when someone shouted outside.
“BOTH OF YOU, GO TO THE GUIDANCE OFFICE” it’s my teacher.
They didn’t do anything but to obey our teacher, they went out to go to the guidance office with our teacher.
A few minutes, they are back. My teacher was looking at me with a wide smile, did I do something wrong?
But I didn’t bother to asked her why yet I just ignored her and my classmates, didn’t mind the noise and gawked until
our classes ended.
While waiting at the school’s shed, I’m reading some stories on wattpad. Suddenly, here comes the rain. Oh men,
where’s my mom?! She’s late again, as always. After an hour, I saw our car.
*beep!*
I run toward it and opened the door, I entered the car and sat down.
“How’s your day sweetie” she asked
“It’s look like I’m livin with the chaos mom” then I pouted.
“Are you tired or wanna hang out?” she asked again.
“It’s up to you mom” I sighed.
“Okay then” she drove to Jonas Ren’s café
After we ate dinner we went to the mall. My mom bought me new clothes, books, shoes, accessories and Ipad. That I
can use for my new school and studies, ain’t obvious that I’m spoiled right? Lol. My mom always gave me all the things,
even if I need it or not. Because I know she wants me to be happy.
After shopping we went to star city and play arcade. We get on xtream rides like roller coaster and vikings. I’m so happy
because even my mom is busy at work she prioritizing her time as a mom.
“Mom I already tired, I want to go home” I said lazily.
But before going home, we roll by at the Jonas Ren’s café because maybe she knows that I’m hungry. I’m done eating
before we got home. When my mom parked the car I removed my seatbelt.
“Mom I’m sleepy already” I said while yawning.
“Go to youre bed sweetie and take a rest”
I immediately went to my room and take a shower before sleeping.

 Chapter 3

I was suddenly awake when my alarm clock rang. Oh I took it and it’s already 5 in the morning. I sit and lean on my own
headboard.

I took my phone near to my bed. When I opened my social media account I was shocked because there’s a lot of friends
request of my classmates most of them are boys but there are some girls too.

When I saw Savannah’s friend request I accept it immediately. Aftyer I accepted Savannah’s friend request. I get up on
my bed and walk toward to my dressing room.

I choose the simple white dress and black doll shoes. I wear a dress because tomorrow is the start of wearing a school
uniform.

My dressing room’s wallpare is color blue, the ceiling is color white and the floor is white carpeted designed. The doors
are color black. I have five signatures bags with a different brands beside the door. Long black sofa near at the window
and two-full length mirrors.

After I do all my routine I decided to go downstairs. Then I saw my mom preparing our breakfast for this morning.

“Good morning Mommy” as I kissed my Mom’s cheek.

“Good morning to baby sit down and let’s eat” she said in a sweat voice.

After we ate .We quickly cleaned all of the mess, beacause I need to be early on our Class and my mom too.

When we arrived at the front of our school's gate I decide to go out of our car. "Bye mom" as I say goodbye to my mom.

As I come out to our car I was shocked because there's so many boy's waiting for me outside our school's gate.

"Goodmorning"

"Hi Astrea"

"Did you ate your breakfast?"

I started walking and I just ignored them.

"ASSSSTTRREAAA! "someone shouted at my back.

When I turned around I saw Savannah wearing a lavender dress above the knee and a pair of white shoes . I just want to
tell that she's beautiful that's why there's so many admiring her .

"Astrea come on let's go to our room" saying with a wide smile while walking towards me.

"Okay" as I answered with a wide smile too.

As we reached our room there are my classmates sitting on their chairs. As I sit on my chair our teacher came.

"Good morning class" our teacher greeted us with a wide smile.

"Good morning Ma'am " as we greeted her back.

"Take your sit and we will discuss about distance formula" she said as we take our sit and listen to her.

"Coordinate geometry is a branch of Geometry"

"Coordinate geometry is also Analytic Geometry"

While our teacher is discussing some of my classmates are taking down notes, sleeping and some students using their
phone's under their table.

"Did you understand?" our teacher asked us.

"Yes Ma'am" we answered.

If you really understand then turn your book on page 305 and answer it now our teacher didn't finish it because our next
teacher just came.

"Okay take that as your homework. Goodbye class" our teacher say goodbye.

That just happened until the class ended.

Chapter 4
Savannah and I went to the gate. I saw my mom's car outside of my school from here inside. When my mom saw me,
she unlocked her seatbelt and went toward us.

"Hi sweetie" she greeted at me and take a look at Savannah then a sweet smile curved on my mom's lips. "Hello there"

"Mom this is Savannah, my friend" I introduced her to my mom.

"Really?" mommy amazingly questioned.

"Yes mom" I answered weakly.

"I'm so happy that you already have a friend sweetie" my mom said as she pat my friend's shoulder.

"I have to go Tita, bye Astrea" Savannah said as she bowed to my mom as a sign of respect.

"Ohh okay, take care" my mom response.

When we got home, I went to my room to take a shower and change my clothes. I went to my study table and made my
assignment.

When I finished doing that I sat on my fluffy bed. I took my new iPad that mommy bought and I opened my social
media.

I'm just scrolling over my news feed when Savannah's face suddenly popped up.

"Astrea dinner is ready" mommy shouted downstairs so I didn't able to reply Savannah's chat.

I went out in my room to go down, when I went down I saw our dinner was ready.

When my mom saw me, she induct me to sit. Mommy puts rice, pickled and chicken joy on my plate and she also put
water in my glass.

"How's school?" mom suddenly asked.

"It's better than yesterday mom" I smiled while answering her question.

"Have you already done your assignments?" she asked again.

"Yup, it's just a lil bit hard but I can do it" then I continued eating my meal.

After we ate, we've arranged pur meals. After doing my business downstairs, I immediately went to my room. I took my
iPad and saw Savannah's chat head, she's asking me if I'm already done doing my homeworks.

I replied.

Astrea: Sorry late reply, I'm just done eating. I'm already done, how 'bout you Sav?

Savannah: Oh I'm not done yet, I'll check the library tomorrow.

Astrea: I'll go with you

Savanah: okay then, thank you

Astrea: your always welcome

Astrea: Go to your bed and sleep Sav, see you tomorrow

Savannah: You too, see yah. Good night, love yah

Astrea: Love you too

When the message was sent, off turned off my mobile network. Before sleeping, I stared at the ceiling asking my self,
why does my teacher looking at me like that.

 Chapter 5

Savannah's POV

I'm at the library with Astrea, and she's helping me with my assignment. While she was teaching me, a group of boys
approached us.

"Hi, I'm Midnight" he introduced his self with a killing smile on his lips.

Midnight is the campus heartthrob and he's a grade ten student. He is intelligent, handsome and a varsity player of our
school.

When Astrea didn't entertain them I insisted to introduce myself and my friend.

"Hello, I'm Savannah" I pat her shoulder "and she's Astrea"

"Ohh, cute name huh? And also you're cute" Midnight said while looking at Astrea

I slightly kicked Astrea's foot below the table and she look straight to me.

I offer her a peace sign and i introduce midnight to her upon seing midnight, She her self from her seat.

"Hmn, Thank you" she said while smiling shit thats one of a kind smile

"Ahmm,nice to meet you Midnight" she said,then she looked " Let's go Savannah' were going to be late in our next
subject" and she stand up.

"See you around Astrea and its so nice to meet you"Midnight said.

While we were walking at the corridor i heard a lot about Astrea

"She's so cute in our uniform"

"She looks like a gosplayer"

"She's so beautiful"

"I want to be liks her"

I can tell than it's all absolute because she really beautiful in our uniform.

Above the knee black skirt, white short sleeve uniform with small necktie and socks to prevent exposure of our legs.

The class already started upon our derival. But before she let us go home. Our teacher reminded us about our upcoming
instramurals.

"We are here for today because next week is the start of your Intrams" our teacher stated.

"We will be having different activities. The first activity is booth making, second is cooking contest and lastly Mr. and
Ms. Intramurals.

"So class what would be your booth?" she asked.

"Wedding Booth"

"Cafe Booth"

"Kissing Booth"

"Jail Booth"

The class suggested. But we prefer the kissing booth.

"Lastly Mr. and Ms. Intramurals so class who will be our representative?" Our teacher asked again.

"Maam I suggest Astrea. If she will be our Representative, we will already have the crown for sure"

"Yes maam! Then blaze will be our escort" our classmates said.

"Is that okay to the both of you?" Our teacher asked.

"Its okay for me maam" Blaze said.

"To you Astrea? I hope its also okay for you, because your classmates are right! You have the potential to win the
crown" our teacher stated.

"Ahhhh.... okay maam, i'm in" astrea said shy.

" Okay class. Thats all for today" after our teacher said it, we all stand up and go out.

"Goodbye Astrea" I said upon seeing my service.

 Chapter 6
Astrea's POV

The day came by and we are now doing our booth.

Here we are at the ground and my classmates are busy on doing our booth. I looked around and many students are also
doing their booths.

"Astrea" Blaze called me.

"Hmmm ... Why?" I asked while looking at the booths that were being built.

"We are called for pictorial and after the pictorial we have a practice as well"

When he said that I immediately looked at him

"Right now?"

He nodded

"I do not have any clothes to use for pictorial" I said in a problematic voice.

"Don't worry, the school is providing the clothes that we're going to use" he smiled as he said that.

When we arrived at the pictorial site, I saw a lot of participants.

"Hi I'm Ayannah and you are?" she introduce her self to me. Oh my god she's so beautiful.

"Hello, I'm Astrea" I also smiled at her

"First time?" she asked me and immediately nod.

"Hahaha we're just the same" she said softly.

We just talked when someone entered. Everyone stopped and caught our attention when someone is walking in.

"Oh my god. Midnight is one of the candidates" Ayannah said as he looked at Midnight looking for a seat.

When he looked at our place and saw an empty seat beside me he immediately approached us.

"Can I sit here?" pointing the vacant chair beside me.

"Of course" Ayannah answered immediately

In just a few moments, Ayannah's name was called because she was the next to take a picture.

When Ayannah gets out, Midnight suddenly asked that makes me surprised because he was so quiet then.

"Hi Astrea nice to see you here, are you one of the candidates?" he asked while smiling.

"Ahh yes, they choose me" I answered.

When Ayannah returned, they immediately called my name. When the pictorial is finished we are practicing how we
walk on the stage. They teach us how to walk and introduce ourselves in front of the audience.

When we got the right placement, we rested first and the boys are now they're teaching.

As Midnight was walking, I was very impressed the way he walk and almost everyone was looking at him when he was
in front.

As they finished they let the boys rest. After a while, they called everyone.

"Is everyone here now?" asked the choreographer.

"Yes" we answered.

"On Wednesday is your contest. Please go here early because you will have your last practice before it get started" the
choreographer reminded.

"What time, it'll get started Sir?" one of the participants asked.

"At exactly six o'clock" the choreographer answered.

"Okay last practice then we can go home"

After completing our practice, they let us take a rest and out. When we got out at the gate, she saw her driver waiting.

"Bye Astrea"

As she ride in there car. I just waved and sighed as I saw the car away.

As I waited the car there was someone stand on my side, it was Midnight.

"Aren't your service here yet? Midnight asked.

"Ahh yeah, my service is not here yet. Your's?" I asked Midnight

"I don't need service" because of his answer, I looked at him.

"Hmm? Why?" I wondered.

"Hahaha you're so cute when you do that" he said. "My parents bought me car" he said seriously.

"Ahh, okay. Why didn't you go home?" I asked again because if I have my own car I would go home if I wanted.

"Beacause--" he didn't finished what he'll gonna say because of the horn of a car. When we look at the car, I saw my
service.

"I'll go now because my service is here. Goodbye"

"Okay. Goodbye also Astrea" I heard him say before I closed the car door.

When I got home I quickly went up and changed my clothes. I didn't even eat because I was drowsy and tired because
of what we did earlier.

 Chapter 7
The day already came, I feel so nervous. The day of my death, our pageant. I'm here in my dressing room with Ayannah.
We're sharing a tent and it was okay because she was already closed with me.

Let me say this to you, you know Ayannah and Savannah are now close. That you'll say that they not meet each other
long time ago and oh my god they are so noisy.

"To all candidates please go out to your tent now because the program is about to start in a few minutes" the emcee
announced.

"Let's go Ayannah" I said as I stood up on my chair.

"Good luck sweetie and Ayannah" my mon said while smiling.

"Good luck bessy and Ayannah!!!" Savannah said in a hyper tone.

When we got out we saw other candidates forming their lines so we also form our lines.

In a minute of waiting, we were now walking and introducing our selves in front.

"Hello everyone my name is Astrea Aravena" as I introduced my self and smiled.

The audience clapped and shouted as they cheer me up.

We reached the top 3. In this contest it's not by partner, it's individual. I can win or he will win. We can win, the two of
us or we can be a losers.

"Miss Astrea Aravena" emcee called me and I stepped forward looking so confident and smiling while waiting for the
judge's question.

"If you did not win this contest, what would you do?" asked one of the judges.

"NOTHING" I answered "If I run across the corridor, if I cry a river, if I blame my self and many more ifs, will that change
anything? No, it won't. Why not sit back and relax because the competition has now come to an end. That's all! Thank
you" I smiled and go back to my place while hearing those loud claps and shouts from the crowd.

"Thank you Miss Astrea Aravena" the emcee smiled "And now our last candidate, Midnight Moondragon" the emcee
said and all girls are screaming and busy on fangirling.

"I know this is not possible but.." introductory of female judges. "If a girl rejected you, what will you do?"

"I will still pursue" he smiled and all the girls are screaming louder and louder. "I'm not the type of a guy who easily fall
for a girl and court her immediately" he continued. "That's why if I'm going to court a girl, I swear to myself that I will do
anything just to have her. Beacuse that's how a Midnight Moondragon love. Thank you!" he smiled and go back to his
place.

"And for our Mr. Intramurals, let's give him round of applause for...Mr. Midnight Moondragon" emcee said.

Midnight went on the center of the stage. They gave him a trophy, sash, and certification. They also took a picture with
the sports coordinator, principal and judges.

"And for our Ms. Intramurals...." drum rolls "Give it up for, Miss Astrea Aravena" the emcee said. All of them are
screaming and hailing as my name announced.

I also went to the middle of the stage and did the same procedure as what Midnight did. I saw my mom and Ayannah
smilling at me and it made me smile too.

Midnight came closer to me and I heard him whispered "Congrats Astrea".

"Likewise, Midnight" I said while smiling because the school photographer are taking pictures.

"You're so beautiful tonight Astrea" he said that makes me blushed.

He put his arm on my waist because the school photographer said. I saw Savannah and Mommy smiling widely.

 Chapter 8
Week has passed since I won as Ms. Intramurals. Since that day there always letters in my locker.

"Savannah" as I call her attention "Can you come with me in the locker room? I will just get my book"

"Toppingly I will also get my book in the locker"

As we walked into the locker we saw Ayannah walking towards us

"Hi Ayannah" we said in unison

"Hi guys. Where you going?" she smiled and asked a question

"Hahaha were going in locker room to see if there is a letter again" Savannah joked

"Ohhh I want to come. Can I?" She said in a energetic voice.

"Of course" Savannah answered

When we arrived at the locker room I opened my locker.

"Wow! Astrea youre admirer is now wealthy" Ayannah said "Last time letter only but now red rose and letter"

I rolled my eyes and took the book that I needed

"Will not you take it?" the two asked me.

I gasped what they say and opened my locker again to get it "Here" as I gave them the rose. "The rose might rot there
and smell bad in my locker "

As I said that I walked away from the locker. As we headed into the classroom I noticed that Ayannah was still not
leaving in our side.

"Aynnah" I called her attention "We already exceeded your classroom" I wonder

"Ahh yesss.. I'm no longer there because I transfered to other section " she smiled

"What section you transfered?" Savannah wondered

"In youre section hihihi" as she answered happy.

When we arrived to our classrooms we sat down and Ayannah also sat next to me.

When the class ended. We come out in the campus and there we see are service waiting for us.

"Goodbye guys" we say in unison while laughing

"Oh god" I shouted suddenly when the car stopped

"What happened ?" I asked my driver in a polite way

"Ahmm Young Miss we almost bump the car" as he point black Chevrolet SS 2077 car

"I will take care of it" I said as I got out from the car and smiled politely to him.

I saw a familliar guy coming down in the driver seat. He looked so worried

He's Midnight, Mr. Intramurals. After the Intramurals I haven't seen him.

"I-Im sorry Astrea" he nervously said

"You should be careful when youre driving. What if you get an accident or accident someonw like what happend to us
just this moment?" " I preach "What if you die or we di--"

"Do you think I would let you die?" He stoped my other words. "Damn it! I almost wanted to kill myself cause I put you in
a great risk" he snapped and got calmed already "Look Im sorry" he said and rode his car again.

Leaving me dumbfouded with the words he uttered.

 Chapter 9
Morning came, we are here in the cafeteria eating our snacks. As I eat my snacks, Ayannah and Savannah talked about
Blackpink's song.
"Have you watched the Blackpink Music Video?" Ayannah asked.
"What music video is it? As if it's your last?" Savannah asked.
"O M G y ---" Ayannah did not finish her sentence because someone suddenly enter in the canteen.
That noisy canteen was suddenly quite. It was like an angel walked.
Midnight with his group are the one who enter. Maybe they just finished there practice because they're still wearing
their P.E uniform and sweat on thier face.
As soon as they buyed their snack and find a seat they began to eat.
When we finished eating we stood up and started walking but we sunddenly stopped because Midnight called my name
"Astrea" he said and gave me a toblerone "Peace offering"
I looked at the chocolate. Should I accept it or not?
"I-I'm sorry, forgive me please" he said sincere.
I gasp and took the chocolate "Apology accepted" and proceed on leaving the canteen.
When we got out, Savannah and Ayannah suddenly asked.
"What's that for Astrea? Did he confess already?" Ayannah asked
"Is he courting you already?" Savannah asked
"No, it's just peace offering" As we arrived right across our classroom
"Peace offering for what?" Ayannah asked and enter to our classroom
"We almost had an accident with him. Our cars almost collide with each other." I said as I sat in my chair
"Awww.. So sweet" they both said
Our teacher came and began to teach. We sent home early because they have a meeting.
When we got out. Midnight suddenly came to our side .
We are waiting for our service when sunddenly Midnight asked.
"You going home?"
"Ahh yeah" I answered shortly.
It did not escaped the teasing smile and looked at me by my two friends
"Well be safe, okay?" he said and looked at my two companions "You two also"
"Okay" the two answered and I just nodded
"Will go ahead " he said and started walking to his friends in the side.
"Ayiee Astrea" they teasing me agajn.
I just ignored them and said goodbye because my service is already here.

 Chapter 10

Week has passed. I think Savannah and Ayannah will passed the comotion last time but no, they still teasing me in the
chocolate and saying Midnight goodbye last week.

Here I am walking alone into the locker room because the two are so lazy to walked.

I got to the locker room and there was a man in front of my locker putting a ferrero and little flower

"Midnight?" I called him with a hint of surprise in my voice

"A-Astrea" he said nervously my name but I just looked at the thing that he will put into my locker.

"Ahmm... What's that?" I asked while pointing at his hand.

He breathed deeply "That's it. Im done with this secret thing" he stated and I felt nervous.

"W-What are you saying?" I stammered.

"Astrea, I can not hide it anymore" he struggles to say "It's like everyday that I keep my feelings for yiu it gets worse" he
started and looked at my eyes "Astrea .... I love you"

I immediately shivered and forced myself to laugh "Y-youre joking" i said and came out of the locker room.

But he grabbed me immediately and faced me with him.

"Astrea..just please listen" Midnight plead

"Stop joking around Midnight" I threatened him

"Lyrae ... I love you" she said as if I did not hear what I said "I've been keeping this feeling since the first I saw you ---"

"I said stop joking around" I shouted and he stopped talking. "I do not have time for this Midnight" I said "Look for
someone else that you can fool. Not me" I said and turn around to walked away.

Before I walked away I heard him saif those word

"This is why I'm afraid that you'll know my feelings" he said loudly "Do you think I'm not serious? Well, let's see, I'm
gonna prove you how I meant what I say and I'm serious about that "the last word that I heard.

 Chapter 11

After the locker room incident, I was just walking and went to our classroom and didn't go back.

"Oh what happened?" Savannah wondered.

"You know Astrea that looks like you have to admit you have flown" Ayannah said while laughing.

"Those are the ones you noticed to me." I scoffed at the them.

They just laughed at me but they stopped as our English teacher came in and already here.

"Good morning class" our teacher greeted.

"Good morning teacher" we stand and greeted her with respect.

"Okay, you may seat" our teacher said. "Our lesson for today is blah blah blah ......."

When she started her discussion, the two of them were always scolding.

"You may now go" the most awaited magic words that our teacher would say because since I was still scorned by this
people.

"Hahahahaha" they both laugh at seeing my face as if it had fallen to heaven and earth.

It was a bit annoying for me. I just ignored them until we got out of the gate and see our bucks.

"Hey Astrea" they called me.

I went to them with a poker face. "What?" I'm a little angry about it.

"Princess we're here" I came back to reality when my dad speaked.

I've been thinking about what's going to happen especially because of what happened last night.

"Is there any problem princess?" daddy asked.

"Nothing dad" I answered. "I'm just thinking dad" I said and I kissed my daddy on cheek before I got out.

When I entered the main gate. There are group of girls that staring at me.

I just ignored them and go straight to the locker room to get the morning books. When I opened my locker, there's a
note. And there is also a small flower attached with the note.

"I'll meet you at the rooftop, lunch break" I read the note. "M-Midnight" I said in stuttered voice.

"So that was you" there's an anger in her voice.

"K-Klaire" I said in afraid tone.

Klaire is my classmate who's closed to me. Everyone knows he likes Midnight but Midnight didn't bother to know her, in

“K-Klaire" I said in a fearful voice.

This is the first time that I saw Klaire like this. She was always happy but now it's a scary thing she shows her face.

When she lifted her eyes, she stared at me begging.

I take a deep breath "I-I will"

As soon as she left, I just fix my face and left to the locker room to enter the in the classroom.

As I enter in the classroom. I saw a big teddy bear in my chair.

I took the note attached to the teddy bear and read it.

I took a deep breath and lowered the teddy bear so I could sit down.

flower.

"What is these for?" I askes even I know what is these for.

He shrugged and smiled meaningfully "Let's eat" and he guide me to seat but I refuse it.

messing his hair.

"Astrea talk to me please" Midnight said when he saw us in cafeteria.

I thought he would avoid me because of what I said but no he is persistent

"Astrea please stop avoiding me. I will do everything just please stop avoiding me" he said

"Date Klaire then" I said and his mouth slightly open.

"I'll do anything but please not that" he stated "I can't teach my heart to love someone Astrea and also I don't open for
flings. I won't date her beacuse you told me too. I love you and I will prove it too you".

I take a deep breath "Midnight please...please stop. Be with Klaire who can give you the love you deserve" I said.

I immediately left him and hurried to the Table.

This is the first time I lose my brain in study and the discussions of our teachers. I can not focus on my studies because I
am thinking about I did earlier.

When we got out I saw my service is waiting outside the gate.

Today is my birthday but I do not know why I'm nervous. It's just my birthday why do I feel nervous?.

Since the day Midnight never talked to me, I didn't even saw him at school. I just want to know if he is okay or what?

I just took my book to read but I can't concentrate because my classmate shouted.

Day passed by Midnight and Klaire is always together. Even in snack time and lunch time.

Here we are on the grounds entering all the shops. Savannah and Ayannah planned to watch the band this
afternoon.

"Let's the fun begin" our SGC President shouted at the microphone and the students screamed.

We are in the shop when suddenly we saw Midnight and Klaire together.

"It's time for the band performance" they announced. Savannah and Ayannah suddenly pulled me near in the
mini stage.

The stage isn’t that high. It's just right and you can even climb. There is also a stair in the middle where it can
climb.

There are so many bands sang. I saw Midnight whispered to Klaire and Klaire's reaction was happy. When
Midnight left beside Klaire she immediately went to her friends.

"The last band that you're waiting for. Give it up for NEPTUNE!!!" the emcee said. The students are screaming
when they saw Midnight and his friends go to the stage.

I hug him back "Don't worry" I sighed "You’re not dreaming" I added and he hugged me tighter.

This time I will take the risk, I'm not going to be scared anymore. This time, I will tell him what I feel.

I was about to talk when I saw Klaire behind his back.

"K-Klaire" I said and his smile suddenly fades.

"M-Midnight" she stammered as he looked at Midnight and I heard her cry.

"K-Klaire I'm sorry" Midnight said.

Midnight please" she said in a pleading voice.

anything and also you have everything Astrea" she stated while crying.

"You’re so selfish" she shouted at me as she struggled with Midnight's holds because she wanted to hurt me.

"Selfish huh?" sarcastically I said. "So I'm selfish” I laughed sarcastically." I left him, I hurt him and I did not answer him in
my birthday even though I wanted to because I was thinking about you. Do I still looked selfish for you?"

I looked at Midnight. "Let her go, Midnight" I simply said. "If she want to hurt me, then let her. So I have the courage to
forget that she became my friend"

"A-Astrea" Midnight said.

"I mean it Midnight" I said but never looked at him "What are you waiting for Klaire? No one will stop you, slap me!" I
said and challenged her.

When we were in front of the house I invited her to come in.

"Are you sure?" I asked him because he wanted to go inside and immediately to say to my mom that we are
together. I didn't know that they are close.

We went to our house and we saw mommy cooking in the kitchen.

"Mom, I'm home" I shouted to my mom and make her know that I'm already here.

"Sweetie, wait for thi--" she didn't finished what she was saying because she saw Midnight.

"M-Midnight" mom said with a shocked reaction and immediately came to us.

"Hello Mrs. Aravena" he greeted shyly and my mom embraced him.

"My god, I thought that my daughter wouldn't wake me up to reality" mommy said.

Midnight just chuckled while he's embracing back my mom and when the door opened dad came out and his
smile faded on his face.

"Amelia" my daddy called my mom.

Mommy looked at my dad with a sweet smile and came bear to him. "Why are you embracing that guy?"
daddy asked and thinks badly about Midnight.

Daddy is a jelly jealous husband when my mom is with someone else, he really easily get jealous.

Mommy slapped my dad's arm. "Are you jealous with that young man?" mommy said and looked at Midnight.

"Eat your dinner here, the food is almost done" she smiles at Midnight and rolled her eyes to dad before he
went in the kitchen.

"Uhm, Daddy is it okay if midnight is here?" I asked him.

He took a glanced at me and Midnight. "One wrong move, Moondragon. I'll make sure, you can't even stepped
in this house" daddy said with a gritted teeth. "Amelia! Baby!" daddy called my mom and followed her in the
kitchen.

Sometimes, I can't understand my parents but I find it cute. Arguing like teenage couples but still sweet with
each other.

"I wish we could be like them someday" I looked at Midnight, looking at the picture of my mother and father
on their wedding day.

We’re here in the classroom with Savannah and Ayannah listening to our teacher.

“You may now take your break” our teacher said while fixing her things on her table.

When I went out he took my things. “let’s go?”

We went to the cafeteria and find some vacant seats. He volunteered to buy our foods.

When we are done eating he walked e in my classroom.

When I went inside and sat on my proper seat my friends immediately sit down beside and in front of me.

After the class, they went home and leave me alone.

I’m here at my car and I’m going to visit at Midnight’s house today. I’ve met his parent’s last week.

As I stopped my car in front of their gate, I went out in the car and started to walk inside their house. I saw her mom
doing something in their living room.

“Good morning Mrs. Moondragon” I greeted to his mom.

“Oh! Good morning too Astrea” she greeted me back. “Are you looking for Midnight?” she asked.

“Yes Mrs. Moondragon, I want him to come with me at the mall” l answered.

As I reached his room, I entered quickly then I saw him topless seriously starring at his laptop. As he felt my presence he
face me as he closed his laptop.

“Yes baby, what brought you here?” he asked me.

“I want to go at the mall. Can you come with me baby?”

“What we’ll gonna do there?” he asked.

“Come on let’s date”

“Baby if you want me to become your shopping buddy again, I don’t want. Just call Savannah and Ayannah to be with

“Please baby, they are not free today because they’re busy doing their projects and having a family day” I said and

After that we went home

Days had past, I can feel her coldness.

I put my phone beside me and closed my eyes. I can't stop asking myself, what did I do? I'm doing my best to make my

"Honey, dinner is ready" I heard my mom.

I face on my mom's opposite direction to hide my tears.

"Son?" she entered my room. "Are you crying?" she asked as she sat behind me.

"No, mom" I answered, shortly.

I looked at her with a sad expression on my face. "She's cold"

"Just comprehend her attitude, son. Sometimes, girls are abnormal" she jested. "Make longer your patience, you know
girls easily changes their or should I say our mood swings"

After taking a shower and dressing my garments up, I ate my dinner.

My mom really know that I don't want to talk about her, because right now? I'm sulking and it sucks.

After eating, I helped my mom on washing the dishes and went in my room.

I woke up, feeling that everything was okay. Nothing happened yesterday, ignoring her coldness.

"Let's go?" I caught my attention.

"So how was your morning period, baby?" I asked while holding her things.

We went to the nearest restaurant and eat. She never talk to me and busy with her own business on her phone.

While waiting outside of Astrea's classroom, I'm busy browsing on my feed.

I saw her classmate closed the door and locked.

"W-wait, where's Astrea?" I asked.

"She already went home, why?" she said confusedly.

"Nothing, thank you"

She nodded and walked away. Astrea didn't wait me, why?

While walking in the parking lot, I saw my car with vandals.

What the?! Who did this?! I closed my eyes deeply as I sigh. I kicked my car that makes it alarmed. I went home with this
trashy car.

"What happened?" my mom asked maybe because she saw my car and my serious face.

"Nothing mom" I answered as I walked upstairs.

I lie down on my bed and checked my phone. She never called nor texted me.

I turned on my data and I saw that she's online.

Midnight: Baby, why didn't you wait me?

After three minutes, she didn't reply and offline. She really ignoring me and it hurts emotionally.

After eating my dinner, I chatted her again.

Midnight: If I did something that makes you treat me like this, I'm sorry baby. Good night, I love you.

I closed my eyes and still hoping that tomorrow she'll go back what she used to be.

Years had past, we are both graduated. But I didn't heard some news about her because she transferred to another
school last year.

"Yo bro! We have some celebration coz our basketball team won the championship" I heard Jackson said. "And you're
invited"

My friends are basketball players and they defended the championship.

"Oh thank you, sure I'll go after doing my businesses at shop" I smiled as I pat his shoulder.

"Okay, see you bro!" he said as he walks out in this coffee shop.

"See yah"

I'm the owner of this coffee shop that my mom's favorite place when it's morning.

At exactly ten o'clock, I closed the coffee shop and went to Jackson's house.

"Sup bro!" he greeted, shakes our hands and bumped our shoulders.

"Yooow!"

Loud music, dim and disco lights. Dancing, shouting, drinking, everyone is happy.

"What took you so long bro?" Jackson asked as he sat beside me.

"I have a lot of costumers bro, sorry"

"Nah, silly boy. It's okay, atleast you're here now"

"By the way congratulations for the team"

"Thanks bro!" he patted my back.

"You're welcome, you know. I'll always be a support friend"

He shook his head while smiling. "Yo bro, that's why I like you"

I smiled as I drink my beer. "You like me huh?" then I smirked.

"Lol bro" he laughed awkwardly. "As a friend, you're creeping me out"

"Dude! Don't be so serious, I'm just kidding" then I laughed so hard because of his reaction.

He punched my arms and stood up. "You're creepy"

"Tss, aren't that adept at me?"

"Always not bro" then he pointed me. "Be right back"

I nodded as my response.

I drink and drink and drink 'till I got drunk. I'm feeling dizzy but I tried to drive way home.

ut suddenly, I didn't noticed the girl who crossed the road and bumped her that hard.

"Shoot!" I shouted as I immediately run towards her. I can't see her face but her eyes were closed and not responding. I
carried her inside my car but I heard a baby's cry.

Chapter 25

I looked back and saw a baby.

I took the girl inside my car and immediately went back. Took also the baby and drove fast at the nearest hospital.

I'm carrying the baby while looking at her little angelic face. Her name is Althea, I saw on the towel around her.

I remembered something, I can still remember what happened a year ago. Before she broke up with me, I noticed that
her belly is getting bigger. I know and she also know the time when I was drunk because we celebrated our anniversary
at my house, something happened.

Hmm, what if we also have a baby? What if I also have a baby like this cutie angel? Maybe, I could be the happiest man
in the whole wide world.

After a few minutes, the doctor went out from the emergency room.

"D-doc, how is she?" I nervously asked.

"Are you the husband?"

I don't know but I just nodded.

He just shook his head. "She really hit that hard and her body didn't capable to survive, sorry

I also didn't able to answer from what I've heard. I looked inside the room where they took her and I saw a girl lied down
without a pulse.

"A-astrea?" a tear dropped when I realized that she's the girl who I bumped. Wth?! What did I just do?!

I looked at this baby and I cried more. M-my daughter, my Althea.

A years had passed. I suffered at jail and I accepted it. I know it's my fault, I'm really sorry baby. I'm really sorry that I lost
Althea's mom.

"Daddy!!!" my little angel hugged me when she saw me outside of Astrea's house.

She temporarily stayed at Astrea's parent when I'm in jail. I feel so sorry for them and they forgive me.

"How's my baby?" I asked as I smiled at her.

"I'm fine daddy, grandma bought me some dresses" she answered.

I looked at Astrea's mom, I smiled too when she smiled at me.

"She'll stay with me in three weeks"

"Sure, it's your daddy time with your daughter"

I looked at Althea. "Let's go, baby?"

She nodded and run inside my car but before walking in, I looked at Astrea's mom and hugged her.

"I'm really sorry Mrs. Aravena and I'm thankful and grateful that you forgave me from what I did"

She patted my back as she comfort me. "I know, you also don't want to make it happen"

I stepped back and wiped my tears. "Thank you"

"Welcome" she mouthed.

I walk into my car and drove to my house. Took the chance to be with her and be able to regain my one's loss chance to
saw her grew up.

Astrea, baby. I promised that I'll take good care for our daughter. I'll raised her up as a good person just like you. I love
you and I miss you, baby.

Tragic, right? Astrea and Midnight didn't make it 'til the end.

I sighed, stood up on my chair and walked out inside the cinema. After watching the movie "Until the End" I went to the
nearest fast food chain to eat.

I'm already starving because I didn't able to buy some popcorn and drink.

I'm really related to their bittersweet tragic love story. I can remember my own tragic love story.

The same with Midnight, I lost him, I lost Krypton because of my stupidity.

"Hug me, baby" he said as he leaned his body on me, but I ignored him.

"Give me some kiss" he said as he pouted his lips, but I didn't mind to look at him.

"Baby, let's have a date" he said as he hold my hand, but I declined.

"Be careful okay? I'm not always on your side to protect you" he said as he hugged me on my back, but I kept in silence.

I ignored those sweet words that he said, decline those dates that he wanted. I've been so cold but he don't even mind,
he still love me. I almost gave up but he don't want to let go.

He gave me the sweetest smile but I can see the pain in his eyes. I want him to let me go, but he said "Let's go back to
the time that you don't love me, let me court you again Lyrae" as he hold my hands.

I shook my head and released his soft hands. I didn't say anything, I just leave him alone silently.

Days had passed, he didn't even bother me. Maybe he gave up too, I am quite happy if he do.

But one day he wants me back, he want me to allow him to court me again.

"Can I court you?" I can see the sincerity in his beautiful blue shaded eyes.

I can not tolerate it but to say yes, I allowed him. It doesn't mean that I'm still in love with him but it seems like that.
Maybe I'm insane, I don't know what am I doing.

He gave me such a beautiful fragrant flowers and he gave me some sweet chocolates. He picks me up at home in the
morning and bring me home at the exact time.

"W-what happened to him?" I asked to his mother when I arrived at the hospital.

"He's suffering from a heart attack" she answered while crying.

I looked at him while the doctors are trying to survive him.

"He has a heart disease but he don't want to tell you, he don't want to be worried" she said.
