Learning Standard 3.3.1 Describe the digestion process.
3.3.2 Arrange in sequence the flow of food during digestion.
Learning Objective Describe the digestion process completely.
Success Criteria 1. The student will be able to state that food is broken into pieces by teeth,
tongue and saliva. .

Activity 1. Pupils answer to the question “What happens when you eat?”
2. Pupils think pair and share what they already know about digestion system.
3. Teacher provide pictures of parts of digestive system.
4. Pupils discuss about the parts of digestive system.
5. Pupil’s in-group label parts of digestive system and state function of each
part.
6. Pupils do exercise in the given worksheets. Teacher guide and check pupil’s
answer
7. Pupils will continue with extra questions after finish the worksheet. (anchor
activity)
8. Teacher rotate around the classroom and assist struggling students. Pair
struggling students with students who have a strong understanding of the
concepts presented.
9. Teacher recall back today’s lesson
