EMCEE: Good Afternoon, everyone. Please settle down. In about few minutes we will start the ceremony.

EMCEE: Our dear parents, friends, guests, faculty members, administrators and candidates for completion,
please assemble at the entrance. Thank you.

ASSEMBLY/PROCESSIONAL/ INTRODUCTION:

EMCEE: Graduation is the ceremony when qualified students are conferred in an academic degree by their
school. It is the best time where our learners reap the fruits of their labor and sacrifices. It is when they pay
tribute to the hardships of their parents and give honor to the teachings of their second parents, their
teachers. It is the time when they are about to bid temporary goodbye to their classmates, friends and Alma
Mater. Our institution, Lipa City Science INHS is proud to take part in this FIRST GRADUATION DAY
celebration of the seniors with this year’s Dep Ed theme: “Unity in Diversity: Quality Education for All”.

EMCEE: To make this event solemn and memorable, we would like to remind everyone to abide by the
following rules:
1. Please maintain silence as the program begins. Kindly turn off or switch your mobile phones to silent
mode to prevent feedback in our sound systems.

2. During the awarding ceremony, parents/relatives should accompany their children on stage as they
receive their awards. You will be guided by the ushers or usherettes.

3. Pls. take pictures or videos at designated areas or while you are at your seats or you may take pictures
on stage at the end of the program.Only the official photographer is allowed to take photos near the stage.
Your full cooperation to maintain the decency of our program is highly appreciated! Thank you very much!

EMCEE: At this very moment, we could feel the heat of surprise as we move on to our program and before
we reach the highlight later on, we shall be welcomed first by one of the members of the Administration.
May we call on our very own OIC/EPS in Science, Dr. Felipa A. Morada, please give her a warm applause!

ask the presence of the Class Advisers, Mr. Jhondriel C. Lim and Mr. Gerardo V. Mista for the presentation
of the candidates…

X. DISTRIBUTION OF CERTIFICATES.
EMCEE: We shall still request Dr. Felipa A. Morada and Ma’am Susan DL. Oribiana to remain onstage to
grace the distribution of the certificates of graduation to our grade 12 students. We also request for the
presence of Ma’am Lorena L. Torres… (call the dignitaries who are present) as well as the Grade 12.

successful individuals. At this point, we shall call on one of the faculty members to introduce our Guest

CAPTIONS FOR THE AWARDS

1. Academic Excellence Award


The Award for Academic Excellence within the quarter is given to learners from Grades 1 to 12 who
have attained an average of at least 90 and passed all learning areas.
1. With Highest Honors/May Pinakamataas na Karangalan 98–100
2. With High Honors/May Mataas na Karangalan 95–97
3. With Honors/May Karangalan 90–94

2. Award for Club or Organization Achievement (for Club Presidents)


This award is given to a duly recognized club or organization that has created positive impact on the
school and/or community it serves through the implementation of all its planned projects and activities,
provided strong support to the implementation of the school activities and attainment of the school’s
objectives, and taken great strides to help its members develop their potentials. The awardee must have
undergone evaluation on the following criteria: 1. Club or organization performance, 2. Exemplary output, 3.
Contribution to school or community

3. Leadership Award
The leadership award is given to learners in grades 6, 10, and 12 who have demonstrated
exemplary skills in motivating others and organizing projects that have significantly contributed to the
betterment of the school and/or community. The recipient must have passed the set of criteria and weights
that will be used by advisers and peers in the evaluation and deliberation process.

4. Award for Outstanding Performance in Specific Disciplines


These awards are given to recognize learners in Grade 10 who have exhibited exemplary skills and
achievement in specific disciplines. These awards also value the learner’s achievement in a specific
discipline that has contributed to the school and/or community. The awardee must have undergone the
criteria and weights which is used in the evaluation and deliberation process which include the following: 1.
Academic rating, 2. Skill in Discipline, 3. Attitude toward the disclipine under peer and coach/ adviser
evaluation and 4. Contribution to the school related to discipline

A. Communication Arts
This award is given to learners who have demonstrated proficiency in any language (Filipino, English, or
other foreign languages), in written or in oral communication,shown creativity in expressing ideas in written
or oral activities in various subjects, and contributed to the school community.

B. Mathematics
This award is given to learners who have high academic standing in Mathematics, demonstrated passion
for math expressed through an excellent attitude toward Math work, and shown enthusiasm for Math, which
positively impacts other students in class.

C. Science
This award is given to learners who have high academic standing in Science, demonstrated passion for
science expressed through an excellent attitude toward Science work, shown enthusiasm for science which
positively influences other students in class and the wider school community, and displayed inquisitiveness
about the environment, how things work, and how natural processes occur.

D. Social Sciences
This award is given to learners who have high academic standing in social sciences.

They have consistently demonstrated the willingness and ability to contribute to and participate in activities
that serve the common good. They have used their knowledge, skills, and disposition in history, geography,
economics, and other areas of the social sciences to promote the common good and to achieve shared
ends for others in the school and/or community above and beyond their personal good.

E. Arts (e.g., visual, media, music, or performing arts)


This award is given to learners who have consistently demonstrated outstanding skills in the arts
and above average creativity and craftsmanship exemplified through contribution to school’s various
functions and events.

F. Athletics
This award is given to learners who have shown outstanding skills in athletics (particularly in games
and sports) through participation and victories in competitions, as well as discipline in training and
sportsmanlike conduct and character.

G. Award for Research or Innovation


Award for Research or Innovation---individuals, pairs, or groups must have led the planning and
execution of a research or innovation to advance the potential applications of technology, or research
whose findings can be used to drive better efficiency and productivity as well as to improve the lives of the
people in the school and/or community.
The learner must have undergone the following criteria: Research grade, Usefulness and
significance of Research, Rigor and Research presentation.
