Abandonment BD-97-001

It is PDO policy that;


"redundant assets shall be written-off and removed where appropriate and the
environment restored to, or as near as reasonably practicable to, its original state
in an agreed time frame".
Impact
Ensure PDO's reputation is maintained through responsible operation compliance with
HSE policy.

Critical Success Factors


· Legal requirements included in Code of Practice, Standards and Procedures.
· Be seen/acknowleded to be an environmentally responsible operator.
· External benchmarking/inspection/certification required.
· Define or agree 'reasonably practicable' with stakeholders upfront.
