Rotating bridge mechanism system

Abstract
A swing bridge is a movable bridge that has as its primary structural support a vertical
locating pin and support ring, usually at or near to its center of gravity, about which the
turning span can then pivot horizontally as shown in the animated illustration to the right.
Small swing bridges as found over canals may be pivoted.
Rotating Bridge Automation Project
Purpose the aim for this project is to create a three dimensional model of a rotating or
swinging bridge similar to the one in Northwick Town England What is a Rotating Bridge?
A swing bridge is a movable bridge that has as its primary structural support a vertical
locating pin and support ring which allows it to pivot horizontally. Advantages
The chances of collisions is greatly reduced in the presence of a rotating bridge. The bridge
requires no counterweights so its complete weight is significantly reduced.

Advantages
1. The bridge mechanism has very low error.
2. The size of project made by is more suitable for bridge system.
3. The cost of machine is less.( proto type model )
4. It is easy to make.
5. It has low maintenance.
6. The system has worked fully switched operated.
7. Weight of machine is less.

Disadvantages
1. Being semiautomatic we cannot neglect at least one operator.
2. Electric power is most important for project operating.
