Airtel Money went live PAN-India early this year and at the same time, Nokia shutdown
Nokia Money, as a part of company’s drive to focus on the core key areas.

Airtel is also in talks with banks to expand the Airtel Money to an open-wallet service,
enabling consumers to withdraw the money (right now, you can only use the money for
electronic transactions). The engaged target section of the 'Airtel Cash Super Account
powered by Axis Bank' will be settlement corridors and unbanked areas, where there is
more prominent need of easy money transfers and savings, which will be conceivable
with this record and the requirement for other budgetary items like stores, protection,
credits and so on that will get empowered soon.
