With HIP, you have a special savings account called a Personal
Wellness and Responsibility Account, or POWER Account for short.
It gives you $2,500 to pay for certain health care costs. Here’s another benefit:

Use your POWER Account to get the health care you need. After $2,500 is used in your POWER
Account, Anthem will begin paying for your care.

Get preventive care

Good health starts with preventive care.
This is the care you get when you go to your PMP before you get sick.
You should see your PMP at least once a year for a wellness checkup. This checkup gives your
PMP the chance to get to know your health care needs. You should also see your PMP for shots
and exams, like mammograms for women or prostate cancer screenings for men. We’ll send you
reminders about your wellness checkups and exams so you don’t miss them.
