Title of the Study: The Architects’ Journey on Becoming Professional

Purpose of the Study: We are conducting this basic interpretive study to determine and understand
the experiences encountered by the licensed architects in various parts of Cavite before, during and
after the licensure examination for Architect.
To the Participant:
1. You will be asked to respond to several questions during an unstructured interview session.
The interview will be arranged at your most convenient time and will be audio-taped.

2. There are no anticipated risks associated with your participation in the study.

3. While there are no expected benefits associated with your participation in the study, you may
gain new understanding of your experiences.

4. Although the results of this study may be published, no information that could identify you will
be included. You will be referred to only by a code name.

5. There will be no compensation for participation in this study.

6. Refusal or discontinued participation in the study will not result in any penalty or loss of benefits
or rights to which you might otherwise be entitled.

7. Your consent is given voluntarily. You are free to refuse or withdraw your participation at any
point anytime in the study without affecting your relationship with the researchers of this study.
You also have the right not to answer questions you do not wish to answer.
