I am interested in applying for the substitute position in your school district. Currently I am a student at Arizona State
University completing a major in Spanish. I have experience substituting for students from Elementary, Secondary and
Special Education. I believe my subbing experience and passion for community engagement as well as my
understanding of military families make me an ideal candidate for a subbing position at your school.

I have experience subbing secondary-level students for Spanish class in a military school. As a long-term substitute
teacher for the Spanish class I coordinate in class activities where parents from different parts of Latin American
countries will come to class and talk to students in small groups to help expand their vocabulary as well as getting
used to different accents and dialects. This activity help promote communication and better understanding of the
language. I believe my innovated ideas make me an asset to your school.

Your school also strives to enriching the lives of military-connected students and the communities in which they live.
Your mission to educate, engage and empower each student to succeed in a dynamic world, go hand in hand with my
desire to motivate and be part of this community to which I have belonged for more than 15 years.

It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my passion for teaching and motivating students to learn a new
