Abstract :

Fifty Shades of Grey is a novel written by El James, an American writer. This novel adapted in to
movie with the same title directed by Sam Taylor. This movie tell about the complicated
relationship between Christian Grey and Anastasia Steel. In this study, researcher will analyze the
main character’s personality using Sigmund Freud theory of id, ego and superego.

Research questions :

2. What the identity who have more control to the lover’s psyche character in to his coy mistress

Objective of the study : in order to assert that in the fight of id, ego, and superego, in the lover’s
psyche, id becomes triumphant.
