Introduction

The origin of Filipino Style Embotido can be traced when Spain colonized the

Philippines for three and half centuries beginning in the middle of the 15 th century.

During that time, the Spaniards introduced different recipes of their sausage such as

Chorizo, Longganisa, and Embutido. It’s for this reason why Embutido is regarded as

generic term for sausage in the Spanish language. In the word, “Embutido” belongs to a

category of sausage recipes during the Spanish colonized period.

There is a meatloaf dish called embotido (not to be confused with the

Spanish embutido) made of well-seasoned ground pork, raisins, minced carrots,

sausages, and whole boiled eggs. The meat is molded into a roll with the sausages and

hard boiled eggs set in the middle. Another variation of the dish involves wrapping the

meatloaf with pork crow or mesentery. It is then wrapped in aluminum foil (historically,

banana leaves) and steamed for an hour. The cooked embotido may be stored in

freezers. It is usually served fried and sliced for breakfast. In some parts of the

Philippines, the embotido is erroneously called "morcon". However, the Filipino morcón

itself is another dish though prepared in a similar way.

This type of embutido is a meat product made from different pieces left over

from the butchering of a pig, including the ribs, tail, and bones with a little meat left on

them. These are chopped; seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic, and other spices; stuffed

in the cecum of the pig; and partly cured via smoking. It can also include the pig's

tongue,
shoulder blade, jaw, and backbone, but never exceeding 20% of the total volume. It is

normally consumed cooked, covered with a sheet. .

Food is any substance consumed to provide nutritional support for an

organism. It is usually of plant or animal origin, and contains essential nutrients, such as

carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, or minerals. The substance is ingested by an

organism and assimilated by the organism's cells to provide energy, maintain life, or

stimulate growth. The Embotarian guarantees the cleanliness of the product from

processing to manufacturing.

Topicality, the market for the embotido had be increased over the few

year which were extremely in terms of production.

Factory of Frozen food is the place where the Hotdog product,

Longganisa, Sausage, Embotido and Ham also provides services in different store,

groceries, and sometimes in special occasions like Birthday, Business event, Wedding,

Reunion. The additional offered product like different vegetables like Sweet Potato and

Malunggay.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

The Embotarian is the proposed name of the business the name

Embotarian means Spanish word for Embotido. The establishment will be located at P.

Oliveros St. Brgy. San Roque, Antipolo City, left Khayil Bakeshop and beside

MetrobankAntipolo branch. It is fitted to location because it is strategy located near


school and hospital. The Embotarian will be open from Monday to Sunday and would

open 14 hours a day

from 8:00 to 10:00pm. The 14 hours operation for the 5 managers, and 8 hours for the

employees only in the break time has a shifting schedule to the employees.

The four proponents also serve as manager each partner has an equal

contribution of 700,000.00 and of Php. 2,800,000.00. The four manager will also serve

as cashier of a store, the shifting schedule for this position is weekly.

There are two supplier of Embotarian, the Chesca Frozen food (Taytay)

and RB Frozen Goods (Antipolo). These two supplier can provide the delivering

services in a Embotarian expect. The Embotarian will br offering different product or

froxzen foods such as Hotdog. Longganisa, and Sausage. One of the problem is the

shortage of the ingredients, Running electricity and Calamities. The owner hire two cook

and one crew to maintain then product and cleanliness of the business.

OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY

The specifically aim of the Embotarian in P. Oliveros St. Brgy. San Roque, Antipolo City

is:

 Ensure freshness of meat by producing it everyday

 Ensure the safe and clean of the kitchen ware

 To generate the income and minimize loses

 To help community for paying taxes in our community


 Provide uniform for the employees

Importance of the Study

The Embotarian located P. Oliveros St. Brgy. San Roque, Antipolo city it will concern:

Government. The Embotarian will provide taxes that can help to development in the

city of Antipolo.

Community. It can provide to work specially to the people unemployed to improve skill.

Customer. Assure that the quality of product produce.

SCOPE AND LIMITATION

The target market of the proposed business will be student, parent,

children, street passer, resident within this area and all the people that can avail to our

business.

The strength of the proposed business is considered by the proponent is

the free uniform to the employees, conduciveness of area, the product sell, ensuring the

health of the employees by the requiring the medial examination every half month of

contract, skill and knowledge for cook and responsible employees.


The weakness is the shortage of the supplier in ingredient, blackout.

The solution of Embotarian would buy a generator in case of this situation. And more

stocks of ingredients.

Filipino people nowadays loves to eat meat because admit it or not meat is very tasty

especially in different way of cooking or recipes. Since Filipino loves to eat meat or even

process food, they patronized it because it’s easy to cook and you just need to do a few

steps to cook it without hassle. The demand for process food increased every year and

this growth for the process food is considered by the proponents as good sign. This kind

of business will be established.

The proposed business will be named Establishment of Embotarian and will be located

at P. Oliveros St, Brgy. San Roque, Antipolo City. Where in there are four proponents of

business CarlynMejares, Christian Hazel Mabutin, Stephanie Leosala and Jednielle Kim

M. Nillo, will serve as owner and managers of the proposed business. Each partner will

have a equal contribution of Php. 700,000.00 with a total of Php. 2,800,000.00 the form

of the organization will be general partnership and the four proponents will divide the

profits and losses equally. The management style used is Democratic style because

nowadays, employees have right to suggest some ideas to have an efficient flow of the

business. The establishment of Embotarian will produce embotido. One of the special

offers is the Embotarian. It will operate 8:00am to 10:00pm. The owners would hire

professional chef and one crew to maintain the availability of shop. Professional chief
will have a salary of Php. 8,000 monthly and the crew will have a salary of Php. 8,000

monthly.
