Why Middlesex

Tutors have a tremendous amount of experience in

industry, teaching and research.

Technology and equipment adopted is industry

standard – a rarity in a university - and supplied by
Siemens and Festo, including factory automation
software, CAM facilities and CAD studios.
Excellent facilities, opportunities to work with major
companies; the course’s relevance to the world of work
and its up-to-date content; and the chance to build
their confidence by giving presentations.

The two specialism's are inextricably linked – an

understanding of design allows for more efficient
manufacturing - yet this is the only UK university to
offer a course combining both.
