OVERVIEW
Learning to recognize letters is an essential part of development in kindergarten. Letter
recognition is the foundation that supports reading, writing and spoken language. This
lesson begins by introducing the entire alphabet with a song, then targets specific
letter-recognition fluency with an interactive sight and sound game and concludes with a
hands-on worksheet to check for understanding.
