 Review of Strategic Plan
Mission Statement – Why we exist and what are the operations intended to achieve. “This is what we are here to do”

Values – What do we stand for and how do we intend to conduct our activities. “How we do our work”

Vision – Clear description of what it intends to become within a certain timeframe. Defines strategic position in the future and the

specific elements of that position with relationship to the mission statement.

***Imperatives***

Strategic Goals and Objectives – A goal implies specific achievement; a target reached and “checked off”. Objective does not

usually contain specifics of it own completion.

The Implementation Plan – Turning goals and objectives into a working plan. Revised, amended, and changed frequently to

respond to environmental factors. Messy work of getting the job done.
