Women’s Health – Inpatients

HIGH
 Respiratory patients needing help to clear secretions.
 1st day post-op major abdominal surgery.
 Post-op patients with ongoing respiratory problems.
 Post-natal patients with perineal trauma following vaginal delivery.
Initial advice for obstetric patients with acute back, pelvic or other severe
pregnancy-related musculo-skeletal problems

MEDIUM
 Post-op exercises and advice following breast and axillary surgery.
 Post-op exercises and advice for all other patients following Gynae
surgery.
 Pre-discharge exercises and advice for all patients following Gynae
surgery.
 Post-natal exercises and advice.

LOW
 Advice for obstetric patients on minor musculo-skeletal and chronic
conditions.
 Obstetric or Gynae patients needing to increase their mobility.
