11:00am Women’s 6k Championship Race
11:45am Men’s 8k Championship Race
12:30pm Open Race – Women’s 6k & Men’s 8k races will be run
simultaneously.

Awards
1:15pm Awards Ceremony (at the course) Team Champion Trophy for
both Men and Women & Championship Certificates to each
winning team member, Most Valuable GLIAC Cross Country =
Individual Champion, First Team All-Conference = Top 7 in each
race, Second Team All-Conference = 8-14 place finishers in each
race of the Championship races – no awards in the Open Race,
Freshman of the Year Award – Voted by Head Coaches and
Men’s & Women’s Coach of the Year – Voted by Head Coaches.
Result Distribution
Results will be posted on Hillsdale College and GLIAC websites at the conclusion of
the Championship
Races. Hard copies will be posted at the course and also provided to Head Coaches
during the Awards
Ceremony.

Entry Fee
$400.00/School = $200/Men’s team & $200/Women’s team. Checks should be made
payable to: Hillsdale College Cross Country. There will also be an entry fee for
the “Open Race” = $10.00/individual whether on your roster (above your 10 varsity
runners) or as an “unattached” entry.

Entry Procedure
Steve Wilkin from On The Mark Timing, LLC will be providing our Scoring
&Timing/FinishLynx System for the meet. The link for entering your athletes is:
www.onthemarktiming.com As you enter the site go to: GLIAC Championships Entry
Information. Entry deadline is on or before Saturday, October 30, 2010 by 12noon –
one week prior to the Championships. Entry limit for Varsity Races: 10
runners /team.

Course Maps
Attached are the 6k and 8k maps – the course is well-marked according to GLIAC
Code with all Mile marks and 1000 meter marks posted throughout each course.

Athletic Trainers/Training Room

There will be an athletic trainer available Saturday on-site from 9am – completion of
the event. There will also be an athletic trainer at the Friday Coaches Meeting to
answer any questions that you may have. If a coach has a specific request from the
training room, you should be in contact with Head Athletic Trainer, Lynne Neukom
lneukom@hillsdale.edu no later than Wednesday, November 3rd. Please let Lynne
know if you intend to bring a trainer with your team to the meet.

Admission
Ticket prices: Adults $5.00 and Students $2.00

Spectator Parking
Available at the course - $5.00/vehicle will be charged.
Team Parking
All team vehicles including buses, will park at the course, weather permitting. Buses
will drop off their teams at the course (1620 Barber Drive) prior to the meet and
then park at Hillsdale Academy during the competition. At the conclusion of the
meet, buses will return to the course to transport teams back to the Academy
(south of the FB/Track Stadium) for locker rooms/showers.

Bathrooms
Port-a-johns will be located near the Team Camp/Start Area.

Locker Rooms
Locker rooms and showers will be available at the Hillsdale Academy at the
conclusion of the meet. It is Homecoming Weekend at the College and there are no
facilities available at the George Roche Sports Complex.
