Dear Sir,
I would like to apologize for not being able to take the Finals Exam today, December 13,
2018, on your Subject of ‘Mathematics in the Modern World.’ It was unfortunate that I had to
take absence during this important day of semester. The underlying reason for this is because I
suffered a severe stomach pain and bowel disorder early this morning as I am about to prepare to
go to school. It derived from my condition of having a gastrointestinal inflammation that I have
been dealing with in the last two years.
From time to time, my stomach would ache and my bowel would deteriorate when I have
contacted certain foods, usually when it comes with the fatty ones. Moreover, I was also
suffering from headache caused by a congested nasal and cough. However I wanted to resist
those ailments, it prevented me from going to school at the scheduled time of the exam.
Through this, I would like to appeal that may you give me a chance to take the exam
under whatever terms you deem necessary in order for me to complete the Finals.
