Ms. Ladkani has done her FPM from Indian Institute of Management, Kolkota.

Her doctoral
thesis dealt with the topic ‘Essays on Mergers and Acquisitions’. She holds a bachelor degree in
Commerce from Gujarat University and Post-Graduate Diploma in International Business with
Gold Medal for academic excellence from KJ Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and
Research, Mumbai.

She has received best paper award at IIM Ahmedabad’s Doctoral Colloquium 2013.

She has worked with Metlife India, HDFC Bank and ICFAI Business School prior to her FPM at
IIM, Kolkota.

She has presented papers at Midwest Finance Association’s Annual Meeting 2013 (Chicago),
13th Finance, Risk & Accounting Perspectives (Cambridge, UK) and IIM Bangalore’s IMRDC-
2012.

Her current research interests include Strategic, Financial, Governance & Behavioural
Perspectives on Mergers and Acquisitions in Emerging Markets.

He has done his Ph.D from Jadavpur University. His doctoral thesis dealt with the topic ‘Indian
Stock Market: Examination of validity of Geometric Brownian Motion (GBM) model to Stock
Price Behaviour with particular emphasis on the Black Scholes Option Pricing Model’. He holds
a bachelor degree in Production Engineering, and MBA from Jadavpur University.

Before joining the doctoral programme at Jadavpur University, he worked with multi-national
and Indian firms for 10 years and 5 years in a Business School. Prior to joining IIM Indore he
was with IIM Kozhikode and has a total teaching experience of 12 years.

He has presented his work at various international and national conferences.

His current research interests include Quantitative Finance, Econo-Physics, Uncertainty and
Strategy. His teaching interests include Fixed Income Securities, Corporate Finance and
Investment analysis at Post Graduate level and Theory of Finance at Ph.D. level.
