Air Pollution
There are many types of pollution, namely air, water and noise. Pollution in
our environment will undoubtedly affect our quality of life. Day by day the
fresh air of the environment is getting polluted because of the mixing of
particulates, biological molecules, and other harmful materials. Such polluted
air is causing health problems, diseases and death. In some countries such
as India, air pollution is in its high level.
Air pollution in India is so bad that it becomes one of the top killers in india. It
took the fifth placing among the top killers in india. The outdoor air pollution in
the country is contributing to more than half a million premature deaths each
year. Numerous studies have concluded that both outdoor and indoor
pollution can cause a variety of serious diseases, including ischemic heart
disease, chronic pulmonary obstructive disease, increased risk of stroke and
even lung cancer.
Lung cancer is the top known disease in india due to the air pollution even
the amount of non-smokers who are having lung cancer, has increased.
Moreover, air pollution is harmful to women as well. Women whom uses
biomass for their cooking are in high risk of death. Most of them suffer from
cancer. These women are affected by indoor air pollution.
