Transforming

businesses to impact girls’ lives in Pakistan

How can design thinking help businesses run successful and scalable social
enterprises that deliver impact? You are invited to SPRING Accelerator’s final
event that celebrates the work of Pakistani businesses transforming the lives of
adolescent girls.

Date Thursday, 7 February 2019

Location National Incubation Center, 6 Street 6,
H-9/1, Islamabad
Time 14:00 - 17:30

Since 2016, the SPRING Accelerator has worked with 11 businesses in Pakistan
to develop market-driven products and services to improve the lives of
adolescent girls using a human-centered design approach. Their solutions help
girls learn new skills, earn income, stay healthy and safe across various sectors.

The event will share SPRING’s experience in running a human-centered design

accelerator, which can help other incubator or accelerator programmes to scale
businesses. Attendees may also participate in a design thinking challenge to
create an ideal incubator or accelerator within the Pakistani context, and meet
SPRING-supported Pakistani business. The visiting London-based SPRING team
will share human centered design best practices that have helped 80 businesses
across two continents succeed.
