Meet the (Student) Teacher

To the Parents/Guardians of Room 112:

Hello! My name is Cira Davis, and I am a senior at Bradley University studying

Early Childhood Education. I have been placed in Mrs. Osterman’s classroom to
complete my student teaching, and will be in her classroom from now until May
10th. Therefore, if/when you visit or volunteer in the classroom, I will definitely be
there! I will gradually assume the role of lead teacher over these next 14 weeks, but
Mrs. Osterman will be there every step of the way. I am incredibly excited to not
only teach your children, but to learn from them as well. Go Warriors!

A Little Bit About Me

I like to read mystery books.

I have four nieces and one nephew.

I am a dog lover!

I am a figure skater.

An important component of becoming a licensed teacher requires me to complete a

project in which I video record myself teaching lessons. These videos will not be
distributed in any way, shape or form. They will only be viewed by myself and the
professional organization that will assess me on my teaching. The attached form is a
permission slip for your child to appear in these videos and has more details for you.
Please return them by next Friday, 2/8 :)
