ME AND MY UNSEEN FRIEND

My name is Chintia, I'm currently studying at Bhakti Indonesia University - Banyuwangi.

I have 2 younger brothers, the first of which is school at junior hight school and mahfut at the
junior boarding school. our parents work in Singapore. So I live alone with Ferdy. Since
childhood, I have the ability to see and communicate with astral beings with other terms,
INDIGO, which is inherited from my grandfather and father. I also have unseen friends who are
always with me wherever I go. This is my story of meeting my magical friend.

The clear sky slowly faded into the twilight, the drops of rain began to wet every road I passed.
Everyone passed by in a raincoat attached to their bodies, making them look like robots. I
stopped at a house within 100 meters of my sister's school and began to open the black gate then
walked along the yard. Looks like a large house with a large yard, on the right there is a small
garden that is not maintained. Flower plants scattered mingle with grass wild. The leaves of the
rambutan and mango trees fall along with the wind and rain polluting the courtyard of the house.
The wind makes us feel a little goosebump. This is the first day me and my sister Ferdy boarded
at this house.

Chintia : assalamualaikum.

Mrs.tiny: wallaikumsalam, chintia? let's go in (while opening the living room door)

Chintia: thank you

We walked behind the boarding house maid who drove to the location of our room by dragging
each suitcase. There are a lot of paintings displayed on each wall along the road we traveled.
How many dozens of paintings are here.

Chintia: This house is more suitable to be an art museum (muttered a little)

Mrs.tiny: this is your room and this is the key, if you want to cook something you can cook in the
kitchen. (while pointing to the kitchen whose location is opposite to my room) if you need
anything, meet me at the shop. I hope you feel good (with a friendly face)

Chintia: thank you mom. (smile)

Ferdy: is this the right place? (with a confused expression on the front door)

Chintia: what do you mean?

Ferdy: Isn't this place too horrible for us to live in? (with a slightly scared face)

chintia: only this is the closest and cheapest boarding house from your school. There's nothing to
be afraid of. Can we go in now? (trying to calm his heart)
We entered the room and began to arrange clothes in the closet. The room is big enough for 2
mattresses and a closet, also a bathroom. a shoe rack standing in front of the bathroom and a
small table under the window.

Ferdy: huuuhh ... very tired (lying down on the bed)

Chintia: Do you want warm chocolate?

Ferdy: yes of course

I walked into a minimalist kitchen that was neatly arranged. And I started the stove to boil water.
I feel behind me like someone is watching. When I turned my head, there was no one there.

Chintia: Ah maybe the ma'am boarding passes (trying to be positive thingking in the heart)

Ferdy: need help (tapping my shoulder)

Chintia; AAAAAhhhh ... (shocked) ... it turns out you (sighed)

Ferdy: why? is there something? (confused)

Chintia: Aah emm ... nothing. this is your chocolate (give a glass containing warm chocolate).

Ferdy: what if we go around this location, maybe there is a swimming pool behind or maybe
there is a palm garden because in the yard there are lots of fruit trees (holding back laughter)

Chintia: HAHAHA ... You will not find a date palm garden here, but a banana garden and its
inhabitants. (trying to scare)

Ferdy: if you don't want to join. I will go around. (leaving me with a slightly annoyed
expression)

I went back to the room and ferdy walked around the boarding house location. He walked to the
backyard. There is nothing special there as expected, ie dates. Only a stretch of tall grass and
some local fruit trees there. Then he sat in a fragile wooden chair leaning under a mango tree
while enjoying hot chocolate. The rain was over but cloudy still faithfully closed the sky to make
the atmosphere so quiet and cold. Soon a woman's voice laughed softly from above the tree.
Ferdy looked up, but there was no one there. The voice grew louder and clearer until finally
Ferdy decided to go back to the room walking fast like he wanted to run. Arriving in the room.

Ferdy: huuuhhh ... finally (sighed with a scared face)

Chintia: what's wrong? (confused)

Ferdy: in ... there ... in ... behind ... ah never mind I want to sleep.

Chintia: You really never finished your words. (grumbling)

The night had come, a quiet and mystical atmosphere was felt at night. The sound of crickets
who are competing as night entertainers. We're going out for dinner. And we go home at 9:00
p.m. we walked past a residential location not far from the boarding house. When we passed I
saw a crowd like a market and the majority were women there,

Chintia: how can there be a market in a residential area? Isn't the night market only in the city?
(inwardly) try to look at the house (pulling his hand)

Ferdy: what's with the housing? Lonely nothing there. (Confusion)

Chintia: Oh yeah there really isn't anything. (starting to understand this situation)

We arrived at the boarding house and directly entered the room to rest. Ferdy fell asleep while I
still couldn't close my eyes even though tomorrow I was going to college in the morning. When I
tried to fall asleep suddenly the door of my room was like someone was knocking. I woke up to
see the clock on my cellphone. 00.00 pm

Chintia: Who knocked on the door at midnight like this, could it be the boarding house? Didn't I
pay the boarding money for the next 2 months? Can't tomorrow morning if there are other needs.
(grumbling)

I walked over to the door and when I opened it turned out there was no one there. I immediately
closed it again and jumped on my bed

KRRRIIIINNGGGG ... KRRRIIIIINNGGG ... KRRRIIIINGGG ... my cellphone's cellphone

rang at 7:00 a.m. turns out ferdy is ready to go to school. every time I wake up I always go
straight to the toilet for bowel movements. Because the bathroom in my room had no toilet so I
had to go to the back of the toilet. The location was in the back corner of the house next to the
public bathroom. When I finished doing the morning routine. I closed the toilet door, and behind
me stood a figure dressed in white with long hair unraveling looking at me with glaring eyes. I
tried to turn my body slowly until I faced him directly. My heart was beating very fast and like I
wanted to faint. I know that he is not human.

Chintia: the ... si ... who are you? (trembling body)

Then he laughed loudly until my ears hurt. then I ran while crying in fear. BRRAKK ... I fell into
an empty dispenser in the kitchen.

Ma'am boarding: why are you chintia? What is wrong ? (with a panic face helps me stand)

Chintia: di ... there is a girl ... (crying)

Mrs. boarding: you quickly return to your room. Are you not going to college today? (like not
wanting to extend the conversation)
Chintia: ii ... yes ma'am today I am in the morning. I excuse me.

Ma'am boarding: ok (nods)

The sun shone brightly, the color of the sky looked blue with the decoration of birds that fell in
the clouds. Today's weather isn't as bad as yesterday. I used to use my motorbike and I tried to
forget about this morning. Arriving on campus, 2 of my friends were waiting for me in front of
the rector's building. Azizah and putri, they are my best friends while studying here.

Chintia: hy guys ... (waving)

Azizah & daughter: hey wahatsup. (pat my arm)

Azizah: What about your new boarding house, is it fun?

Putri: it looks like we have to celebrate. What if you treat us chicken geprek and thai tea then we
watch a horror movie in your boarding house? Fun isn't it? (Looking at me hopefully)

Azizah: WAW good idea. I agree

Chintia: I even experienced horror events without having to watch horror films, if they went to
my place would they also be bullied? what if that happens? (daydreaming inwardly)

Azizah: HEEYY ... (tapping my shoulder)

Chintia: AAHH ... YES (shocked)

Putri: what do you think?

Chintia: no, emb ... good idea, so when do we go to my boarding house?

putri: how about this afternoon. today only 2 days right?

Chintia: ok (smile forced)

3:00 a.m. we arrived at my boarding house with lots of food, drinks and snacks. We parked the
motorbike in the yard then we walked to my room. Starting with enthusiasm suddenly turned into
an atmosphere of silence and mysticism as it passed through the living room, family room and
dining room.

Azizah: how can you choose a place to live like this? (turning around here with fear)

Putri: yups ... this house is so scary as uninhabited, surely this house is a lot …… (rubbing its
arms)
Chintia: Ahhh you watch horror movies too often (cut conversation). This place is comfortable
and cheap. After all this boarding is the only one closest to my sister's school (trying to melt the
atmosphere)

Arrived in front of my room. I took out the key from my bag and opened it, KKLEEKK ..

Chintia: please enter (please enter)

Putri: WAAHH ... it's very delicious (lying on the bed)

Azizah: You know no, my heart almost gets off from the living room Chin (seriously looking at
me)

Chintia: Ah you're horrorism. Ok, guys, let's eat

Putri: wait wait. It would be more enjoyable if eating accompanied by a horror film. I will look
for the journal youtube channel (grabbing the laptop on my desk)

When we coolly plot films, suddenly. PYAARRRR ... PYAARRR ... ... like someone's voice
slammed the plate repeatedly from the kitchen. Suddenly we all shouted ...

Putri: what is that sound? (fear)

Azizah: Is the owner of this house angry or fighting with her husband?

Chintia: It might be a cat because there are a lot of cats hanging around here (inwardly, "even
cats will definitely be afraid to enter this house")

The afternoon has changed night, our food has run out as well as the film. Azizah and daughter
say goodbye home. I drove her to the front yard.

Azizah & putri: we go home first, see you again (waving)

Chintia: byeee, see you to, (waving tag)

I closed the living room door and turned around to go to the room, but a number of figures stood
before me including the woman who had bothered me this morning. They are various forms.
There is a form of an old grandmother with matted hair, there are 2 women with long loose hair
and one tall black figure with long hair. They all looked at me sharply and sarcastically. My
heart pounded 3 times the incident this morning. My bones and joints seemed unable to move.
As much as possible I step out of the house and close the door. I waited for ferdy to go home
from school on the terrace. 15 minutes later Ferdy comes home.

Ferdy: LOH. How come it's hard to go home in the afternoon?

Chintia: Yes, only 2 subjects, I have prepared dinner so we don't need to leave tonight (while
walking to our room)

Ferdy: But tonight I will go out for group work at my friend's house.

Chintia: oh ok. Don't go home late at night.

Ferdy: nod.

Ferdy: sit down (pull my hand)

Chintia: what's wrong?

Ferdy: Last night I felt a strange thing, I had a bad dream, in my dream I was visited by many
ghosts so that my body could not move and could not breathe. This morning when I showered, I
felt like someone was watching from the roof. Is this house haunted? (full expression of Question
mark)

Chintia: it's just your imagination.

Ferdy: Have you ever been disturbed at this house?

Chintia: Ahh ,, emnb ... certainly not (nervous) okay, immediately forget that dream and eat fast
(leave it)

Night is the time when the heart continues to beat fast without stopping. Still with the sound of
crickets that are intertwined, but it doesn't have any effect with the mistic atmosphere in this
house. Ferdy went out for group work, while the homeowner gave his days at the store. Only me
alone in the house. The night the atmosphere became more and more tense. I'm working on my
assignment for tomorrow, as usual I never forget hot chocolate to accompany me. I walked into
the kitchen and started cooking water. Soon after I saw someone walking from the back room, I
thought the owner of the house.

Chintia: buu ... bro. you are there? (walking in the direction of the woman)

Then the woman stopped and slowly turned her body towards me. Apparently the woman was
the woman who bothered me this morning. Instantly my heart stopped for a moment.

Chintia: siiii ... who are you? (dare myself)

Sri: crying ..

Chintia: why are you crying?

Sri: sick, cold ... (crying and looking down)

Chintia: then why do you always bother me? What do you want?
Sri: help me, PLEASE HELP SRI

Chintia: I can't help you.

Sri: AAAAHHHHH …… (SCREAMS while moaning)

I run and cry to my room. Then I immediately called my father because my father was the only
person who could help me. TUUTTT ... TUUTT ... TUUTT ...

Chintia: Daddy quickly answered my phone, hurry up ... (crying)

My father: hello. Assalamualaikum

Chintia: haa ... I'm afraid. I'm scared . what should I do dady.

My father: what happened?

Chintia:( recounts the incident)

My father: if you want to help him. Go to the backyard right in the right corner under the
concrete wall. That's where his house is with his family. But before you have to ask permission
to the owner of the house. Remember, don't do it before sunset.

Chintia: okay daddy thanks.

The next day,

It's still too early and I rush to meet the owner of the house who is already standby at his shop.
The homeowner seemed to be counting money at the cash register.

Chintia: assalamualaikum

Ma'am boarding: walaikumslam. Chintia. What's up when you meet me in the morning. Did
anyone have a problem with your room?

Chintia: OHH NO, but I want to ask about something else (while sitting next to him)

Mrs. boarding: yes, what about?

Chintia: I have always been met by a woman who asked for help a few days ago. Do you know
about the history of this house?

Mrs. boarding: woman? Ask for help? Are you? (Curious)

Chintia: yes, I can see them.

Mrs. boarding: emb. I don't really understand the history of this house, it's just that I bought it
from the Kalimantan people at a low price. I have heard from a neighbor's story that in this house
exactly in the backyard is a family graveyard, so from that we always empty the backyard.
Indeed, sometimes I hear the voice of a woman crying from the back of the house. But I have
never bothered.

Chintia: if possible I want to ask permission to help him with my friends.

Ma'am boarding: OH alright.

I also immediately contacted Azizah and PUTRI to immediately come here with my order, which
is the flower that is usually for pilgrimage to the cemetery. 1 hour later they arrived.

Chintia: finally you come.

Putri & azizah: what will you do then?

Chintia: This afternoon we clean the backyard first and at night I will sow flowers and pray for
them

Azizah & putri: ok lets goo ..

We immediately cleaned the backyard.

dusk began to greet and soon the night will arrive with a million stars adorning the sky and the
moon will shine beautifully. The eagerly awaited night has arrived. We also walked to the
backyard using a flashlight because there were no lights for lighting. It turned out that Sri was
waiting for us on the mango tree. As if he welcomed us with hope. We began to approach the
location where my father had shown me

Chintia: Whatever happens, never leave me alone. Hug my body so that I can't move.

Azizah &putri: okay we will take care of you.

I began to sow Flowers in that place and began to read the verses of the QUR’AN which were
devoted to Sri and his family. Apparently not according to plan, many other creatures came to us
in various forms. They all tried to get inside me, so many times I was possessed and my friends
were overwhelmed to hold me and help me read the verses of the Qur'an, finally I was able to
control myself and regain consciousness. We rushed to leave the backyard to the room. It turned
out that Sri was standing right in front of my room with a smile. His face was no longer creepy
as he had bothered me at the beginning. His voice also no longer made my ears hurt.

Sri: THANK YOU CHINTIA (smile)

Chintia: You're welcome, but no longer do you hold me and my sister.

Sri: I will be your friend. I will always be with you.

Chintia: smile while entering the room.

Tonight was very stressful, and so were my friends. But that night was destroyed and changed
into a very beautiful morning. Today I wake up early to exercise with my sister ferdy because it's
Sunday. Like I usually do my routine, which is in the toilet after waking up. Seen homeowners'
family having breakfast in the dining room and between them, right on the empty bench It seems
that Sri also had breakfast,

Chintia: Did ghosts also eat? (in the heart) .

after I returned to my room I prepared to jog with my sister ferdy. We ran around the compound,
and suddenly Sri followed me.

Chintia: why did you follow me?

Sri: I promised I would always be with you. (flat face)

Chintia: I'm curious how you can be here?

Sri: This is my home, my father's, mother's and sister's house. We die because of Japan.

Chintia: then another?

Sri: they come from outside, not from here. Some of their houses are painted.

Chintia: then there (pointing to the housing)

Sri: it is the kuntilanak market.

Chintia: I deserve to see a lot of wishes there.

Ferdy: what? What are you talking about? (turn to me)

Chintia: ahh noting (keep running)

Now me and sri are friends, before I always thought they were all evil. They only disturb people,
but now I know that they also want to be respected, they are just like humans. Not all of them are
evil, wherever I go he is always beside me, even when other creatures try to attack me he tries to
help me.
