DaF offers small group German language support for children of all grade levels, with the main goal at each level being to build vocabulary. New vocabulary words are introduced and practiced through games, songs, finger plays, puppetry, drawing, and storytelling to help students gain full command of the words, before the lessons focus on pronunciation, articles, conjugations, and grammatical structures as proficiency increases.

Language Learning
We approach language learning in a structured way through:
Games Songs Finger Play Puppetry Drawing telling stories and sequencing
Vocabulary
Vocabulary is limited to a certain number of words and expands
upon words introduced in their homeroom. Once they have a solid vocabulary, pronunciation and article or conjugations become a focus.
Proficiency
Where appropriate these vocabulary words will be practiced in
different settings (games, songs, etc.) until student has full command of these new words. As students become more proficient, sentence structure and grammatical phenomena are practiced.
