The Start of a New Era: The Syracuse Mets played its first ever game yesterday, falling 6-3 to the WP: Josh Taylor (1-0, 0.00)
Pawtucket Red Sox in ten innings. Syracuse’s opening day roster features one of the most experienced LP: Ryan O’Rourke (0-1, 9.00)

Taijeron Takes Off: Travis Taijeron’s go-ahead two-run double in the sixth inning Thursday was the
biggest hit for Syracuse in its season opener. Taijeron returns to the Mets organization this season after
spending last season with the Triple-A Dodgers in Oklahoma City, his first non-Mets professional season.
Taijeron is one of four Syracuse players who spent significant time in the Mets organization prior to their
return to New York’s system this season, including Carlos Gomez, Dilson Herrera, and Rene Rivera.

Tebow Mania: Tim Tebow comes to Syracuse as one of the most highly-anticipated names on the Syracuse
Mets’ Opening Day roster. The outfielder is in his third season in the Mets’ organization and his first with All Time Meeting #834
