Legal Network for Truthful Elections Inc. (LENTE) is the first nationwide network of lawyers, law
students, paralegals and other trained volunteers set up by various non-partisan groups engaged in
election monitoring work. It was launched on March 23, 2007 at IBP National Office with the
signing of a Memorandum of Agreement between the LENTE Co-Convenors.

LENTE has the undertaking of ensuring truthful elections and meaningful electoral participation for
the good of the Filipino people. We envision a genuinely and participatory democratic Philippine
society with an informed, empowered and engaged citizenry, where LENTE, as an established
community of committed lawyers, law students, paralegals, other professionals and trained
volunteers, serves as a steadfast guardian of a credible and accessible electoral system.

In this connection, we would like to ask for your authorization, as a way of your support to LENTE’s
mission and vision, to allow the members of LENTE from Dr. Vicente Orestes Romualdez
Educational Foundation Chapter (DVOREF-Chapter) to conduct Public and Voter’s Education in
relation to the upcoming National Elections among the Registered Voters of your community
including the first time voters, Senior Citizens and Persons with Disability on March 25, 2016 from
9:30am- 11:30am. We would also like to ask for your permission to post announcements vis-à-vis
this said Public and Voter’s Education within your premises.
