FRIENDS

“You are my sunshine, my only sunshine… You make me happy when

skies are grey. You never know dear, how much I love you, so please don’t take

my friends away…”.(sing this line- You Are My Sunshine song.) Assalamualaikum

and a very good morning to the respected teachers and my lovely friends. My name

is Danisha Nur Adriana Binti Mohd Rapi and I am from Year 5 Al Khawarizmi. The

topic of my speech today is FRIENDS.

Who in this world can live without friends...? Anyone? Anyone?... No one...

(asking the audience, raise your hand as if you are talking to them). Well, we need

friends to laugh with, to be our playmates and to lend an ear when we are down with

problems. It cannot be denied that all of us need friends. I am sure all of you have

many friends and best friends. As for me, I love all my friends of Year 5 Al Khawarizmi

and they are my side kick too! Thank you (your friends names)……….……….,

………………., ………………., ………………., and everyone for being my friends.

Friendship is a precious gift in life. A true friend always stands together and

helps us. A true friend never cares his/her own important works and leaves all works

to help us. A true friend will always be with us during our difficult times of life. A true

friend will always be there no matter what.

True friends whether one, two or three are enough for the whole life. Instead of

having many friends who never understand your situation, you need to find the loyal

friends in your life so that your relationship will become worthy at the end.
Loyal friends are like gem. They are the real supporters who teach us how to

face difficulties in life. They give us courage to our mind and body. They will help us to

escape from big troubles. As the saying goes, “a friend in need is a friend indeed”.

As life goes on, we lose our friends and gain a lot more. Some friends stay true

to your side. Some were never there for you to begin with. Well, there are times when

one special friend ends up becoming your best friend until your working life. Good or

bad friends come and go. But there’s one thing for sure. We can’t live without friends.

Before I end my speech, here is a poem for all of you my dear friends:

Do not walk behind me, I may not lead...

Do not walk in front of me, I may not follow...

Walk beside me and be my friend.

With that, I thank you.
