Kalbe Rushaid: The man behind a mission.

Kalbe Rushaid a name, Kalbe Rushaid a personality, Kalbe Rushaid a

mission, Kalbe Rushaid a religious personality, Kalbe Rushaid a social
and cultural revolution, Kalbe Rushaid a political dynamism, Kalbe
Rushaid a reformer, Kalbe Rushaid a thinker, Kalbe Rushaid a
personification of humanity and liberty. Which aspect to focus on and
which one to leave, which quality to be discussed, which face or which
aspect to be mulled. The situation leaves me in a dichotomy as Ashiana
Creative team has honored me to write an article on the glorious
personality of Maulana Syed Kalbe Rushaid Rizvi. Up to what extent
would I be able to do justice with this, this question is beyond my
capacity to address. I wish I would have had a touchstone and after
writing his name I could rub it and know how many caret this gold is
worth of. But since his linage is associated with The Holy Prophet
(pbuh) there can never be a touchstone to judge his worth. It’s very
difficult to write any thing about a scholar, one cannot just pen down
anything and everything on a paper and fill the pages. But anyway , what
ever little knowledge and information about him I have I feel it to be my
duty to pour it in the glass of words, now the glass gets overfilled or its
breaks this can only be known at the end of this write up.

In the year 1976 when the Muslim world was celebrating the birth
anniversaries of Hazrat Ibraheem and Hazrat Isa (as) on 25 th Zeeqad at
the same time Syed Mushtaq Ahmad Rizvi, the eldest son of Syed
Abdullah Rizvi of Mauza Madrapali, Gopalpur, District Siwan in the
State of Bihar, India, was blessed with a son who was named as Syed
Kalbe Rushaid Rizvi. Before his birth his father had already emigrated
from Bihar and had chosen Mahua, District Bhawnagar, Gujrat as his
second home. His father admitted him to Sultanul Madaris, Lucknow at
very tender age and placed his son in an environment where he would
learn Islamic theology and jurisprudence.
In a short span of time Maulana was able to achieve a special position
among his peers and teachers, thanks to his intelligence and his
dedication to his studies .After ten years of education Maulana came
back to his home town Mahuwa , Gujrat and was honored as Imam Juma
of the the Khoja Masjid , a place having a population of 10.000 khoja
shias. After one year he went to Qom Iran for further education where he
was honored Mohamaddan Law which was authorized by Hazrat
Ayatullah Gulpaegani. After having the Amama on his head and
responsibility on his shoulders Maulana Kalbe Rushaid started to preach
the teaching of Muhammad and Ale Muhammad and the era of tableegh
started. During his stay in The Reunion Island France he was made the
representative of Ayatollah Jawad Tabrezi . His journey as a preacher
and muballigh stated in Territorial Muslim Council, Madagascar Africa,
where he was assumed the office of Chief Spiritual head of Shia Muslim
in Panariad(capital of Madagascar). He performed his duties in the
council and also in other place like France falling within the realm of the
council till year 1999.He was awarded Hussaini Chandrak Territorial
Muslim Council which is the highest honor in the council. In the year
1995-96 Hujaatul Islam Shaikh Ali Amoi who also served as the
representative of Late Imam Khomaini (R.A.) in Isfahan and was the
then Ambessader of Iran in Madagascar gave him the title of Falaysufe
Zabanaha or Philospher of Languages. During the same period Mujtahid
Agha Shaikh Burujardi who was the religious Ambassador of Islamic
Republic Iran in The Vatican upon listening his speech and ideas
awarded him with the title of ‘Saif-ul-Islam’ or the Sword of Islam .
Maulana disposed all his religious duties till 1999 and after that he
returned to his home country India .His returned to India however didn’t
brought his preaching’s in west to and end,whenever he has time
Maulana travels throughout UK ,US and other European countries and
spreads his message of love, peace and humanity as propounded by The
Holy Prophet(SAW) and his Infallible Ahlbuy (AS).

Soon after his return to India Maulana lit the torch of his old and
childhood talent of reciting Majalis and in a short span of time he
became a renowned orator across India. Because of his unique and
special style of reciting Majalis. When he sits on the pulpit and begins
the life history and teachings of Muhammad (SAW) and Ale Muhammad
(AS) his style and words are worth pondering over and being
appreciated. His style of speaking and his selection of words distinguish
him from other orators of his field .The calculated and to the point
sentences and selection of vocabulary is enough for any one to judge his
potential and level of thought process. During his speech when he has to
take the attention of his listeners to some important point his style of
wising voice and each and every word he utters therein makes the
masses attentive as he guides their minds and hearts to that point where
they give their token of respect and love to The Lady of Paradise Fatima
Zahra (S.A.) by their tears and cries. Syed Kalbe Rushaid recites masaeb
(storied of pain and afflictions faced by the family of the holy Prophet by
the hand of wicked and evil rulers) in eulogy like it is done in Iran, Iraq,
Syria and Sindh, however his style is quite different than the traditional
one. It seems that some eye witness who has seen the masaaeb of
masoomeen is reciting the same. His words in eulogy flowing through
the ears directly enter the heart of the listener and they are compelled to
take out their emotions through their eyes in the form of his tears. After
Majalis Maulana himself keeps on weeping on the pulpit unless and until
the peoples don’t stop crying and raising their voice for Sayadu
Shohda(as) The Chief of Martyrs Imam Hussain ( as), this sometimes
becomes time taking but no one can help this phenomenon , since the
heart piercing and mind shaking words of Maulana keep on rotating in
the minds and hearts of the people. After his Majalis mind heart and eyes
get washed and cleansed. People love his so much that during his majalis
there is never a visible space both inside and outside the Hussaniya. On
the request and invitation of Padmshree Nawab Amir Reza Hussain,
Maulana is addressing the ashrae majalis of Panja Sharif Imambargah
New Delhi since last many years. After being asked ,up to when will you
address these Majalis , his reply is always simple "I will continue my
service till Shahzadi Fatima(sa) wants me to do this ."Maulana has also
been given the title of ‘Faqre Hindustan’ by Anjumane Panjatani, Patna .
Along with all his attributes, one unique thing about him is that he is a
multilingual zakir of Ahle bait(as), which ever language he chooses it
seems that he has perfect command over its vocabulary and accent. Even
though very simple and far from any pomp and show, his latest
belongings include his net connected laptop and communicator which
always accompany him. This helps him to continuously be in touch and
connected with theological, political and cultural sources so that he may
fulfill his pledges and duties as a better Indian and Human being.
Another worth mentioning thing about this great man is that if he is
reciting a Khamsa( 5 Majalis series) or Ashra (series of 10 Majalis) , the
next Majalis stars from the very point where the last was finished , and
in this way he expands his subject and continue the discussion till the
end .

Maulana says that India is a multicultural and multi lingual county,

therefore if you are a true Indian then you have to inculcate this fact in
your heart and your personality. Many time during his Majalis he
mentions that if in someone heart there is no respect for India’s
versatility (Ganga-Jamuni tahzeeb) i.e. India's cultural diversity, and
love of motherland then howsoever he is closed to me I keep a mental
and emotional distance from a person like him.

Syed Kalbe Rushaid diverted his attention on 5 cr Muslims in Bihar and

improving their condition as well as safeguarding their rights. His
missions doesn’t ends in the state of Bihar but his heart beats for all
those who reside anywhere, belong to any religion region or caste but
are grief stricken , who are backward ,who are able bodied but don’t
have any work, who have blazing sun on their head but don’t have a
shelter , who have farms but don’t have any grains or cultivation, who
have feet but have no slippers , who have stomach but do not have any
food to fill it , in other words to make it brief who have life but are not
living. In this regards he founded that Mr. Ramvilas Pawan is on the
right way. He met Mr Paswan , presented his point of view and both
exchanged their ideas and in this way his political engagements started
to move up the ladder. In 2001 Maulana shifted to New Delhi from
Gujrat. Mr. Paswan discovered and observed his potential and asked him
to work as and active member of minority special cell and spiritual shia
leader in his Lok Janshakti Party. In a very short span of time due to is
sincere and honest dedication to this cause Mr. Paswan made him
secretary and then general secretary and also made him responsible for
Gujrat and Jammu & Kashmir.

Along with campaigning in these states, at the times of elections in

Bihar Maulana actively participate in helicopter campaign. When he
comes face to face with the public, they want him to speak and they keep
on listening .His speeches are listened by people as if someone poor,
someone from their community, someone stuck by affliction and
atrocities, someone who is their brother, someone who understands their
plight is giving them the courage and motivation to combat the problems
faced by them and get back their rights. He never forgets Karbala even
in these campaigns.

Hallaur.in contains one such article which talks about the aforesaid,
which I take as my responsibility to discuss here. If personalities like
these keep on adhering to their duties and dispose off their
responsibilities, there is even a possibility of a Hussaini revolution in
this great country.

When International thinker and orator Maulana Kalbe Rushaid addresses

the crowd in political filed, thousands of people listen to him
attentively .One thing to note here is that Maulana has never ever asked
people to choose his candidate, he remembers karbala there, he talks
about the war of truth and falsehood, humanity and human values he
raises the issue of human rights and above all he talks about the very
existence and evolution of human race .

Sayed Kalbe Rushaid after seeing the efforts and hard work of the
Kashmir state head of his party, asked Mr. Paswan to sanction a budget
of 208 cr from the ministry of steal for the development of the
Kashmir’s people .This money will be used in establishment of a factory
which will provide jobs to 5000 Kashmiri’s. He says Mr, Paswan is not
in the politics of chair but he is in the politics which has its roots in the
motherland and ground realities.
The memories of the day will never be erased when world renowned
saint Baba Ram Dev in a program organized by Pantanjali Yog Pith , in
front of a crowd of 50 thousand presented Maulana and said that he is a
nationalist Muslim , he is my brother , he talks about humanity , he
thinks of a humanitarian revolution . He purifies the soul of his listeners
and represents 18 crores of India's Muslim population. Baba Ramdev
even stated that he has picked this diamond among 18 crore Indian
Muslims, which whenever he takes out the face of every nationalist
starts blushing. In this gathering people were spell bound by the thought
provoking words of Maulana about human values and universal
brotherhood

Maulana Kalbe Rushaid not only travels throughout india and recites
multilingual Majalis, but he also recites Majalis around the globe in
various languages, despite all these his cultural and political
engagements never suffer from lack of his time for them.

It has been observed that Maulana always repeatedly talks about human
values and rights of the common people. He is such a scholar that even
in a non Islamic culture he puts his points within the framework of
Islamic perspective that the listener welcomes his ideas with an open
mind and enlightened heart.

On 13 April in a program organized by Bharat Swabhiman Trust, Raipur

Baba Ramdev honored Maulana to be the Chief Guest. Addressing a
crowd comprising of both Hindus and Muslims Maulana stated that
Bharat Swabhiman Trust doesn’t need any publicity but it needs India ,
huge applaud for these golden words again proved that Maulana is not
the leader of any party or organization but he lives in the heart of the
common man. During the following program Maulana fully supported
Baba Ramdev on his three point agenda, whose result was all
satisfactory.
 1. People must caste their vote only in favor of honest and dedicated
candidates.
2. People must not vote for mafias and people with corrupt
background
3. The government must be approached and asked to bring back the
illegal money dumped in Swiss bank and use it for the
development and betterment of the nation.

Ashiana Creative teams congratulate Maulana and Baba Ramdev for

their sincere efforts and noble cause. Maulana continuous his association
with Pantjali yog peeth and ensures his message of peace flows through
the various programs of the Yog Peeth.

It has been observed that Maulana always talks about humanity and
human rights.
