Prerequisites

● The roms are only for Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 LTE/3G models. Don’t try to flash
these roms on any other model.
● Only use TWRP that I have linked below. Don’t use the official version available on xda.
It does not work.
● You can use Philz recovery, but it is not tested by me.
● Use only the Gapps linked below. If you use any other gapps and run into issues, you
have to mention that while you complain.

Procedure

For a fresh flash coming from a different rom, full wipe is must. For example, if you are running
cm and want to test temasek, you have to wipe system/data/cache before flashing the
rom/gapps

If you are updating the rom, wipe is not required. Most of the roms have a backup script that
saves and restores gapps during rom updates. This works most of the time but issues can
occur. So while updating the rom, you can flash gapps if you choose so.

There is no need to flash SuperSU on any custom rom. All CM and CM based ROMS come with
cm’s variant of root. Certain ROMS like AICP, XENONHD have SuperSU built into the rom. All
custom roms come with root disabled. You have to enable it from ​Settings->Developer
Settings.​ Developer Settings is automatically enabled in certain roms like temasek, but usually
it is disabled by default. To enable it, you need to click on ​Settings->About Phone->Built No​ 7
times. Moral of the story, “ ​DO NOT FLASH SUPERSU UNNECESSARILY​”

● Flash TWRP recovery. There are 3 versions. zip file is to be flashed in recovery, tar
using Odin in download mode and img file can be flashed using an app like ​flashify​. If
you are flashing the recovery over stock samsung recovery using odin, make sure that
you reboot to recovery immediately after flashing twrp, else custom recovery will be
overwritten by stock recovery.
● Download the ROM and preferred gapps from the links given above.
● Use the appropriate wipe option mentioned above.
 ● Flash the ROM followed by gapps.
● Reboot.

Problems

If you run into any issues, provide the steps you took prior to getting that error. Just mentioning
the error will not get you help.
