Gamers Bangladesh (GB)is planning to launch a computer games competition nation-wide. The segment
of potential market for the competition are given below-
Demographic Segmentation--It divides the market into groups based on variable such as age, gender,
nationality.
Age and Life Cycle Stage- The needs and wants are changing with age. So the teenagers to young
generation can participate in this game. The aged among 13-24 would be segmented customer for them.
Gender segmentation- Both male and female can participate in the competition. The female segment
and the male segment would be the different with different games features.
Positioning Segmentation:
Each firm must differentiate and positioning its offer by building a unique bundle of benefits that appeal
to a substantial group within the segment. Above all else, a brand’s positioning must serve the needs
and preference of well-defined target markets.
To find points differentiation, GB must think through the customer’s entire with its games. It can be
differentiate with GB’s product, service, channels, people, image.
