In manufacturing process, we need to take precaution if there is an electricity black out.

The
precaution is providing by a back-up generator. The back-up generator used must be able to
provide electricity needed for the whole plant. We assume that our plant having a black out for 1
days maximum. Our plant need around 146.088 kW and the generator need to fill 100% of our
needs which is 260.94 kW.

Fuel consumption for process Generator used is manufactured by Suter Power Diesel Generator
with 144 to 160 kW capacity, specifications:

 The fuel used is diesel for industries with price 6,400 IDR/liter include tax. Needs
of diesel for one day black out:
Black out time : 24 hour

Fuel needed : 39.8 𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑒𝑟⁄ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑥 24 ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑟 = 955.2 𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑒𝑟

Cost of electricity : 6,400 𝐼𝐷𝑅⁄𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝑥 955.2 𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑒𝑟 = 6,113,280 𝐼𝐷𝑅

So, the cost of electricity if we use diesel generator because of black out is 6,113,280
