Lenskart total investment would run to around Rs 100 crore primarily to build supply chain, to be able to service all our
stores and also train staff .With a great online portal lenskart has existing 330 offline store and they want to open another
150 stores this year and trying close to 500 stores until the end of 2018 accounting year. This company has presence in 90
cities and also looking to expand more. Mint reported in January that Lenskart generated Rs100 crore revenue, while losing
Rs113 crore in the fiscal year ended March 2016, citing company filings. Lenskart sold products worth Rs160 crore in
FY16, going to Rs295 crore in FY17. at present makes lenses at its 10,000 spectacles a day plant in New Delhi. A bigger
facility that can make 35,000 to 40,000 spectacles daily is coming up in Gurugram, with an investment of $10 million and
is expected to be ready in three months, as per lenskart. We are aiming at 400,000 frames a month and double sales by the
financial year end

Factors influencing the supply of product:

 New offers and schemes : Lenskart providing free eye checkup and trials of frames at home.
 Tax rates in exports : If tax rates may increase then price of lenses and frames increases and therefore decreases the
demand and supply also.

Lenskart spending close to Rs 140 crore in brand marketing and
advertising over the next two years, apart from the back-end
expenditure. Lenskart.com offers several incentives to its customers
like the first frame is offered free of cost and a client has to pay the
price of glasses or lenses. Other promotional schemes include paytm
voucher and purchases two premium glasses at rupees 2500
only. Lenskart.com has launched e-mail campaigns via online mediums. Its ads are also shown in television,
newspapers, magazines and billboards.

Tax rate:

The rate of GST on Frames and mountings for spectacles , goggles or the like, and parts therefore fixed by GST council at
the introduction of GST in July, 2017 is 18%

Export / import: The glasses are quite cheap, having been manufactured in China. . They have created multiple brands
within their portfolio and trying to attract people by using Fancy brand names .It is manufactured in china and branding is
done in India. It is also planning to produce some frames in-house to reduce costs.
