Task No: 02
Title:

Design to full wave rectifier in proteus software:

Definition of full wave rectifier:

A full wave rectifier is a circuit, which converts an ac voltage into a pulsating dc voltage
using both half cycles of the applied ac voltage. It uses two diodes of which one conducts
during one half cycle while the other conducts during the other half cycle of the applied ac
voltage.

Components:
 Generic bridge rectifier
 Resistor (1k), 1Piece
 AC Source (20V,50Hz)
 Oscilloscope

Procedure:

1) Open the proteus software and open capture window.

2) Click on component mode icon on left side toolbar menu.
3) Click on pick device and type pick the desired component by typing their names.
4) Place the component schematic root sheet window.
5) Connect the component with each other by wire.
6) Click on instrument icon in right side toolbar and select oscilloscope from it and place in
schematic window.
7) Connect channel A of oscilloscope to input and B channel to output.
8) Click on run simulation.
