Member of the children's choir, volunteer at church fair,
participant of "Homeless Awareness Weekend. During this
event I prepared and served food for people of a soup kitchen,
panhandled in the town common to raise money for the
homeless, and slept overnight in a cardboard box to become
aware of the struggles the homeless face on a daily basis.

Volunteered as a score runner for the Massachusetts


Destination Imagination tournaments in March of 2014 and
2015. The tournaments took place at Whitman-Hanson High
School and lasted more than 8 hours each. I learned the
importance of organization within an event as big as this
tournament and how to get along cohesively with a team while
working towards the same goal.

The Peer Mentor Program at my high school provided me an


opportunity to connect with the students of my school who
experience some sort of disability. During the program I
developed relationships with them and made them feel included
at my high school. I attended the club "socials" in
which mentors and mentees interacted while doing community
service based activities.

KP Cares is a club at my high school that provides an


opportunity for students to connect with the community. As a
member I attended all club meetings, volunteered for monthly
events such as "Paint the School Pink:, "Putting for
Patients", and several others. I fund-raised and promoted
these events to ensure the most successful outcome for each
cause.

As a member of Destination Imagination from 6th to 12th


grade I learned how to manage a project schedule, budget, and
dynamics of working on a team. My team and I advanced
through two levels of competition and were able to compete in
global competition in 2013. During the time I was not
competing in DI on a competitive team I volunteered at local
tournaments as a score runner. I was a founding Officer as well
as treasurer of "Destination Imagination Club" at
my high school in 2016.

Through tryouts I was selected to be a player for the King Philip


Volleyball team in my freshman, sophomore, and senior years.
Although I had previous experience in playing volleyball during
my time on a club time in 7th and 8th grade, I developed as a
player and teammate in my underclassmen years. My senior
year I used those skills and the help of a close-knit team to
better my game and achieve as much as I could. I finished my
senior year season as the number one setter in my league and
as a "Hockomock Allstar". This award is voted on by
the coaches of the teams in the league and recognizes the
individuals with outstanding skill, top statistics, and leadership
skills. I was also voted a "Sun-Chronicle Allstar" by
my local newspaper.

and/or compete in events. The club involved a number of students in the peer mentorin
collecting dues and payment for club t-shirts. Being a leader and experienced member o
were eager to be involved in a unique opportunity that Destination Imagination had to o

Captain of Club Volleyball Team for 2016-2017 season. I was on a U18 team and althoug
court as well as off it by informing them of important tournament dates and locations.
