V-Notch Weir Overflow: an Unsteady Calibration

Introduction Experimental Setup

Notch is a geometrical opening at side of the tank
where liquid level is below the top of the opening.
A triangular notch is also known as V notch.
A weir is a structure placed across a channel which
raises the upstream water level and may be used
to measure the flow rate.
