8E-WE 2a The student will use standard English rules when writing by using ending

punctuation when writing a sentence or question.

In this picture, Phaedra was given two punctuation choices

that were glued on a plastic tile piece. The tile piece is thicker and she can grab it easier
than a thin piece of paper. The tile has a velcro piece on the bottom so it will stick on the
sentence strip. She was then read the sentence, “What is your name?” and then asked
“What punctuation mark goes at the end of this sentence?”

In this picture Phaedra has made the correct punctuation choice and is moving it to the
end of the sentence.
These two pictures show the six sentences that Phaedra was presented with. She got
100% correct.
