Smith was located on the side of the building by an overhead garage door. She was laying on her back. EMTs worked on Smith for several minutos and later pronounced her deceased, Once she was declared deceased, Deputies taped off the area and established a crime scene, Several people on ecene stated they were there for a collage party. They also stated they were drinking alcohol and there were no drugs involved. Ssgt DiCarlo was notified of the incident and contacted the on-duty investigator, sgt Albertin, Interview Pierce Kirkland (Boyfriend) Kirkland stated he was ina back room of the warehouse with Caroline talking, Kirkland said while they were talking Caroline said she did not feel well, Moments later Kirkland advised she fell to the ground and was unresponsive. Kirkland yelled for help and began CPR until EMS arrived on scene. T asked him if they were drinking alcohol or using narcotics, he stated only alcohol. Interview Ray Smith (Brother) Smith stated that they were all there for College event. He said he was not there when his sister, Caroline fell down, T asked him if there was any alcohol or drug use and he said only alcohol. Then T asked him if Caroline had any medical issues and he stated he was not aware if she dis, Further Officer Actions: I gathered as mich information as possible while on scene. Deputy Coroner ott arrived on scene and Sgt Albertin took over the investigation. sos
