The document provides guidance to maintenance staff on properly filling out unserviceable tags for removed components. It states that the exact reason for removal should be included, such as a description of defects, damage location, or fault symptoms revealed by troubleshooting, rather than simple terms like "inop" or "damaged." Providing specific details on the unserviceable tag will help repair shops better recover and repair removed units.
