The maresme is on the north coast of the world-famous city of Barcelona, this region is

Lighthouse of Calella
The Calella Lighthouse is located on the top of a promontory about 50 meters high. In the place
where the lighthouse now stands, there was an old watch and defense tower, which guarded and
protected the coasts from the danger of attacks by Algerian pirates.

Garbí Beach
This is one of the most awarded beaches of the Maresme, since 1994 it has been granted the title
of Blue Flag of the Beaches of Europe, thus ensuring clean waters and quality services. It is also
awarded since 2004 with the 'Q' of quality of the ICTE (Institute for the Spanish Tourism Quality) in

This beach of 814 m long and 72 m wide is located in front of the hotel zone, is delimited by the

Big beach
