G .S .R . 534(E ).-In exercise of the pow ers conferred by clause (aaa) of sub-section (2) of section 114 of the MLKJIHGFEDCB
I n s u r a n c e P . .e t, 1 9 3 8 r e a d w ith clause ( b ) o f s u b - s e c t i o n ( 7 A ) of section 2 of the Insurance A c t , 1 9 3 8 a n d s e c t i o n 2 4 of the
Insurance R egulatory and D evelopm ent A uthority A ct, 1999 (41 of 1999), the C entral G overnm ent hereby m akes the
follow ing rules further to am end the Indian Insurance C om panies (F oreign Investm ent) R ules, 2015, nam ely.-

1. (1) T hese rules m ay be called Indian Insurance C om panies (F oreign Investm ent) A m endm ent R ules, 2015.

(2) T hey shall com e into force from the date of their publication in the O fficial G azette.

2. In the Indian Insurance C om panies (F oreign Investm ent) R ules, 2015, in clause (1) of rule 2, the follow ing proviso
shall be inserted, nam ely:

"P rovided that the m anner of com putation of foreign holding of such Indian prom oter or Indian Investor
C om pany shall be in accordance w ith clause (P ) of rule 2."
