ABSTRACT: - Induction motors are used in many industrial applications in a wide range of
operating areas as they have simple and robust structure, and low production costs. Induction
motors are now being used more as compared to before due to their certain advantages such as
versatility, dependability and economy, good self-starting capability, offers users simple, rugged
construction easy maintenance, low cost and reliability. The reliability of an induction motor is of
great Importance in industrial as well as commercial, aerospace and military applications. Also
the knowledge about fault mode behavior of an induction motor drive system is extremely
important from the standpoint of improved system design, protection, and fault tolerant control.
[1] In this paper different problems are dealt, such as overvoltage, over current , over
temperature, over speed, inrush current, vibration monitoring which are being faced by IM’s
during its course of operation. There are various methods for fault detection and protection of IM.
Some of them are On-line fault detection, Stator fault monitoring techniques, Microcontrollers
based protection system and Internet of Thing (IOT) based protection system. In this study, the
method used is IOT based protection system of IM.

OBJECTIVE

(SAMPLE)
1. To simulate solar- powered electric wheel chair system for Medical application.
2. Design and fabricate a solar- powered electric wheel chair at an optimal cost which can
be utilized in both indoor and outdoor environments.

I. INTRODUCTION

II. LITERARURE REVIEW (SAMPLE)

Note- At least 05 nos of current literature are required (2012 onwards)

(SAMPLE)
In 2014, a paper on “Simulation of DTC-CBSVPWM fed SPMSM Drive with Five-level Diode
Clamped Inverter” was presented by G. Sree Lakshmi, S. Kamakshaiah, G. Tulasi Ram Das in
which a simulation analysis of DTC-CBSVPWM of SPMSM drive using fivelevel diode clamped
inverter is analyzed. To reduce the complexity involved in SVPWM, they used modulation
technique named Unified voltage modulation or carrier based space vector pulse width
modulation (CBSVPWM), using the concept of effective time. By using this method the inverter
output voltage is directly synthesized by the effective times and the voltage modulation task can
be greatly simplified. The actual gating signals for each inverter arm can be easily deduced as a
simple form using the effective time relocation algorithm.
