The Enterprise Europe Network was launched in February 2008 by the European
Commission’s Directorate-General for Enterprise and Industry. The Enterprise Europe
Network is a key instrument in the EU's strategy to boost growth and jobs. Bringing
together around 625 business support organisations from more than 62 countries and
help small companies seize the unparalleled business opportunities in the EU Single
Market

Enterprise Europe Network is co-financed under “COSME” - an EU funding

programme designed to encourage the competitiveness of European enterprises. Our
services are tailored to SMEs but are also available to all other businesses, universities
and research centres.

Network is a true one-stop shop for small businesses with around 4,000
experienced staff ready to provide you with practical answers to specific questions in your
language. Whichever Network contact point you get in touch with, they will either assist
you on the spot or put you in touch with a specialised branch in your region even better
placed to serve you.

Our member organisations include chambers of commerce and industry,

technology centres, research institutes and development agencies. Most of them have
been supporting local businesses for a long time. They know their clients' strengths and
needs - and they know Europe.

As members of the Enterprise Europe Network companies are linked up through

powerful databases, sharing their knowledge and sourcing technologies and business
partners across all Network countries and are also closely linked with the European
Commission, which enables them to keep abreast of EU policies and to feed small
companies' views on them back to Brussels.

In India Network is coordinated by the European Business and Technology Centre

(EBTC), the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) and the Confederation of
Indian Industry (CII).

The Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) along with other partners
European Business Technology Centre etc. have brought the services of Enterprise
Europe Network (EEN) to India with the objective of promoting trade, technical co-
operation, Research and Development opportunities between India, EU countries in
specific and other countries where the network is available.

The network is posted with both business and technology offers from the business
communities and technology experts from various countries where the EEN is spread.

It is our pleasure to compile and present the 194 business/technology offers and
requests posted on the network from 35 countries during the month of February 2019,
having relevance to India, and present in the form of an e-newsletter - “Global Business
Opportunities”.

Please click on the “Profile Summary” against each of the listed offers in the bulletin
to view the detailed profile. Internet connection is required for the purpose.

You may click on “More Information” link on the detailed profile page to seek
contact information of the company on the other side and also submit your “Expression
of Interest” to further your business interest. Contact details are forwarded by our network
partner of that particular country where Expression of Interest (EOI) has been submitted.
If their client shows interest and allow them to disclose their contact details only then we
get the contact information.

B2B Health Innovation Market 2019

The Portuguese National Innovation Agency, (ANI) through the Enterprise Europe Network, in collaboration with the
International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL), and the Health Cluster Portugal (HCP) are promoting a new
matchmaking event to be held in Braga, on April 4th 2019.
The event will bring together around 100 participants from highly specialised medical and health companies from Portugal,
Spain, Israel and other countries.
The Micro & Nano Technologies Sector Group will hold its first 2019 meeting and its members are expected to bring at least
one company or organisation per member.
The Sector Group Healthcare is also invited to promote the event amongst its clients.
WHY PARTICIPATE
Participants will have the opportunity to meet bilaterally in pre-arranged 20 minutes talks in order to:
- Identify potential partners for R&D projects and technology transfer.

The Ocean Business 2019 b2match event is an important international maritime and marine technologies event held in
Southampton every two years, and has a particular focus on companies working in the following sectors:
• Oceanography • Ports and Waterways/Coastal and Harbour Authorities
• Defence and maritime security • Environmental monitoring and pollution control
• Coastal and offshore survey • Oil and gas exploration and production
• Marine engineering • Search and survey
• Government related organisations
The event is held at the National Oceanography Centre, who approached EEN to host the successful brokerage in 2017.
(As a result of this event, we were additionally asked to host a b2match alongside Oceanology, which is held in alternate
years to Ocean Business and has a different marine focus).
This year there are 340 international exhibitors and a range of workshops and displays.
The first event was held to support the Maritime and Dual Use initiative and had the support and participation of the Maritime
Sector Group and the Aeronautics, Space and Dual Use Technologies Sector Group. We expect this to happen again in

Process to View Profiles and Submit Expression of Interest (EoI)

Ensure that Internet access is on to view a profile and to submit EoI.

1. Click on a “Profile Summary” of your interest.

2. A window titled “Profile View” (refer Image No. 1 below), detailing the profile will get displayed:

Study the profile very well. Confirm that the profile is of real interest and ensure that the desired criteria
mentioned in the profile is possible to be met.

3. Seek more information about the profile by clicking on “Request More Information” button (refer
Label No. 1 of the Image no. 1 above). A window titled “Create expression of interest” detailing the
process will be displayed. (refer the Image No. 2 below).

4. Users will then be prompted to register on the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) before it is possible
to submit EoI against the profile. Registration is a one-time process and is free of any charges. Users
without registration won't be able to submit their EoI on the Enterprise Europe Network.
