Hi! My name is Isabelle and I am in 5th grade.

Renbrook is wonderful, just like how

wonderful my best friend is. Renbrook is important to me because now I know how to
write with detail in y stories. I don’t even know if I’d of wanted to write stories if I hadn’t of
came to Renbrook. I also love all the unlimited choices of books here! One of my favorite
books is Watership Down, it is by a fantastic author called Richard Adams. I wouldn’t of
known about for a while if I hadn’t of come here, and right now is the right time for me to
read it, as it is the type of genre I love. I started Renbrook in beginners, which feels like
such a long time now because of how much I’ve learned and improved on. I also love to
draw, and I’ve improved and learned so much more since starting Scratch, which is what I
learned in STEAM.
STEAM is one of my favorite subjects, as we do so many different things! They are
science, technology, engineering, art and math. Then there is also the subject art class,
and in that I learned a lot more about doing creative things for school projects. Although I
have to admit, I do still find some of them a bit fiddly. Then there is also PE. I love PE
because of all the different sports we do. Field hockey is now one of my favorite sports and
if it wasn’t for PE at Renbrook then I may have never got to experience the joy of playing
field hockey… if nobody does dangerous play, that is.
Also, in Renbrook, everyone is included in group activities. Everyone always listens
to other people's’ ideas. Then, we will always try them all. Then, if none of them work A.
(We will try something different) or B. (We will mix them all together into a
fancy-schmancy meal. In every group I’ve been in I’ve always been having fun.
Next I’d like to talk about the adventures I’ve been in at Renbrook. Once, the pirate
ship on the playground smelled like skunk. Fortunately, there was no skunk. My sister is
probably sad she missed the skunk smell, as she loves skunks.
What I think the largest adventure we ever had though was with the black bear.
There was a black bear walking past the playground, it was fuzzy with a brown snout and a
leathery-black nose. Thanks to our responsible teachers though, nobody got hurt during
the “bear drama”.

Overall, Renbrook is mainly about how amazing everyone is. Everyone is always
doing their best, being kind and always having fun. That is what Renbrook is about and
that is what makes it stand out from other schools. Renbrook is wonderful in every way,
and it always will be.
