How to use a layer mask

Step one: select image from your desktop and drop in photoshop

Step Two: select second image and repeat step one then resize second image to fit first image using
the icons on the corners on the image
Step Three: add second layer to each photo by selecting the picture, then clicking the rectangle
icon with the hole in the middle located at the bottom

Step four: move first layer to the foreground by selecting the image in your layers tab and dragging
it over the other image.
Step five: select the eraser tool and erase the background from the foreground. *Make sure eraser
is set to black*

By using the
eraser tool you
are erasing the
layer mask from
the foreground.

TIP: you can zoom in

on your picture by
holding down
command and clicking
the + button!

Step six: you can move the foreground layer around by clicking the move tool in the top left of the
screen
Step seven: if you would like to add another layer you can. For my third layer I changed the layer
from normal to screen to make it transparent and i moved the payer with myself on it to the very
most foreground ( or top of layers list) so that the layer with the sky would not show over it.
